Amar'e should take this quote to heart the next time he thinks about holding a grudge.....so should the T-groupies. "When you hate, the only person that suffers is you because most of the people you hate don't know and the rest don't care" - Medgar Evers Think about that one.
He said he wasn't a big fan -- not that he hated him. Amare is just expressing what 99% of Raptor fans feel, 99% of what magic fans feel, 99% of what Rocket fans feel, and 99.9999% of what the members of Clutchfans feel. Whats the big deal??
He didn't say hate...but thats what I gathered from reading between the lines. Amar'e is what.....5-6 years removed from high school at this point? Seems like he should have gotten over it by now. So McGrady blew you off 6 years ago....is that really a good reason to hold a grudge? Its a free country and Amar'e/whoever can do as they please , but I agree w/ Mr. Evers.....hating somebody gets you nowhere especially if the person doesn't care **** Now people on clutchfans hating on McGrady is just comical.....they really need to take that quote to heart. Do they honestly think McGrady gives a **** about their opinions and lives lol?
Ok so what he wants, I don't really understand why Stoudemire is bringing it up right now, am not fan of both, but I don't understand what's his point, it's just random.
I agree with you, I don't really understand why the Suns held up on the physical, there was something fishy about it.
I'm not sure if Amare's story is 100% true....just seems a little iffy. Why would Tracy lie about whether his brother played football, which he said he didn't. But let's say it is true, Tracy wouldn't have been the first athlete to ignore a high school kid who comes up to him. Hell, Jordan has a few stories of completely ignoring people.
Yeah, I'm not sure about it either. It would be too easy to catch McGrady in a lie if he were lying about his brother.
I have heard from couple of people who have met McGrady that he is a jerk so this does not surprise me. What surprised me was how brutal Stoudamire was. First, NBA players rating McGrady as one of the most overrated player in the league and now Stoudamire coming out so strong against him. Doesn't seem like McGrady has too many fans among his colleagues.
I believe that story is true and Shaq brought it up several times. Big reason why Shaq embarrassed Robinson in the All Star game in S.A. when he almost broke his arm with that dunk. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Dy-0RWbbzd8&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Dy-0RWbbzd8&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
b**** move Amare. Starting beef with a player on the decline. You should've played it up when he was good. Would've sold some tickets at the very least.
http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/173710-mcgrady-says-amare-beef-is-childish Over the weekend, McGrady responded to the claims. "It's childish, he said. "I spoke to [Amar'e]." To bolster his case, McGrady's personal security chief, Haviere Berrien, recalled the conversation. "Amar'e got his number and they spoke and Tracy told him to understand if you go to the NBA, just know you can't take any nights off." Now does that sound like something TMac would say? Come on. Realistically This guy would not say that: http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/173710-mcgrady-says-amare-beef-is-childish

New York media at their finest. Amare and Mcgrady have been in the league for 7, 8 years, they've played 20-30 times, they've been on all star teams together. This issue had never come up before. All of a sudden Mcgrady gets to NYC and the media digs it out just like that. Stay away from NYC Lebron.
didn't berman posted an update to this and this was all a joke? tmac went to amare before the game and said something like, "ur talking crap about me?" and amare just smiled jokingly.
