tmacs efforts are inspiring to all. I hope he continues to use his position in life to continue to help others. I love hearing stories like this because it shows that some athletes have a conscious that extends beyond the court/field of play.

whomever posted that tmac is not worthy of his 20m salary, wtf are you thinking?? what in this thread spawned that comment?? and given his actions in and about darfur, whom would you rather see making that money and effort?? or do you just feel the need to throw disparaging remarks in whenever you can, warranted or not?

this thread shouldn't fall.. it's great to see tmac growing off the court. Nice to hear what Mutombo has done--what kind of an influence he's been. Not that we didn't already know Deke has been great for the NBA as a humanitarian..
