yeah I have houston RR and I have the same problems like you clutch...it breezes by other web sites but slow on this server... my T-1 at work is quite slow at times for the Internet though and you're the only site I visit at work lately...so it just could be just a coincidence the last several days... One more thing I want to say about your site that I forgot to mention to you Jeff...when you click on one of the three main buttons up above for the main categories, it would probably be better if your 'search_results' page would have a static picture of that specific category they clicked on instead of a rollover to distinguish which main category you are on to make it less confusing for the user... ------------------
That might be a good idea, although I can't see how the user would get confused due to the limited amount of categories. Maybe something to think about for when the site goes through further growth. yeah, I develop web pages just like Jeff's page in CF mostly (some asp) on our Intranet. I don't do much Internet work though, so you won't be able to see any of it...You won't believe how confused and dumb users are sometimes...i've ran into many. Clients always call and tell me to change lots of features and make it MORE obvious for the users to understand... Yeah for right now its fine...but once it expands a little more, it will get confusing without any titles on the top of the page ------------------
