I pictured a tall, slim, professional-looking man with sandy-brown hair and a full, but neatly trimmed beard. I also pictured you carrying around a briefcase all the time. ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.
Damn! Fadeaway took the words right out of my mouth ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!
for some reason i had a Pee wee Herman look a like in mind ------------------ "What is it with this girl, has she got beer flavoured nipples??" - Heath Ledger in 10 things I hate about you
I knew you wouldn't exactly be the lumberjack-type from listening to your interview during the radio halftime shows of one of the Rockets games. You sounded quite Muppet-like (not that there's anything wrong with that). I figured you'd be a little guy, clean-cut, accountant/bean-counter-type. A bit on the nerdy side, but not with a pocket-protector. The long hair blew me away completely - I never would've guessed it. Geez man, you look like you could whip a blunt out and start a party... It's kind of cool to see what people around here look like. Maybe Clutch should start a section of the board for regulars to post their pics... and then start one for irregulars like Crisco, too. That's still a great site, though (good work Clutch). ------------------ "Christ, it's not as if Steve pissed on a guy!!!!!" -- cson makes a return to my quotable sig as he comments on how Steve Francis should not be T'd up for slapping the backboard on a dunk...speak loudly cson, you rock!
That "muppet-like" quality has a lot to do with: 1. The AM radio feed. 2. The quality of the equipment used by the Rockets. Let's just say it isn't exactly state of the art. 3. I'm made of felt. But seriously, Jeff Haggadorn sounds quite different in person than he does on the radio and I imagine I am no different. ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
Jeff, Great site. I truly hope everything works out for you there. I actually am not surprised by the way you look. I pretty much envisioned someone just like that because your liking for music and the fact that you are (were?) in a band. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Rocketman95 on board. Check out his latest game recaps.
Jeff, Very nicely done. I don't have much demand for vintage jewelry, but I did email a friend the URL and told her to check it out. Good Luck.... like you need it. ------------------ Yeah, you look like I envisioned. Like Ace said, the clues pointed that way. ------------------ My Rocket Page
You guys could ALL be comedians!!! Most of the design credit goes to Clutch. He did an amazing job. As for my photo, NO I do not do the ren fest circuit. Ha Ha Ha - he said sarcastically. Actually, when I was playing full time as a musician, my hair used to be down to my waist. I cut it shorter during the SOR thing just for a change. My hair has been long since I was 18, so it isn't much new to me. BTW: What exactly did everyone expect me to look like? I'm almost afraid to ask. ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
Oh yeah, thanks for the compliments. My wife and I are working on getting more inventory online every day. We have thousands of pieces of jewelry so it takes time. I'm not sure when we'll get the secured ordering thing together. I hope we can get that done by the first part of this year. It may take us another month to six weeks to get all the jewelry online so we want to do that first. Again, I appreciate all the kind words. Oh, and Sam Cassell, I am not Jesus...my son. ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
Man I'am so glad to see that you finnaly got Your site going. I like it Alot! Great job guys! ------------------ The begining of www.steviefranchise.web.com
Cool site! Looks very clean and simple, and the prices are fairly cheap...perfect time to roll out your site for valentine's...The server is a bit on the slow side though. ------------------
Chen: Is ClutchCity.net slow for you? They are on the same server - not the BBS, but the main page. If so, who is your ISP? I know of a few people that have had some slow server issues with cc.net and my site. Just curious. Thanks for the kind words. ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
I pictured Jeff to look like he does, but with shorter, black hair. ------------------ President of the Charles Barkley fan club...Oh he retired? When?
hey jeff , i want to get my girlfreind that asian brass stone set , but is there any other color besides green? ------------------
dc: Sorry, but these are vintage - in other words, one of a kind. Actually, you have very good taste. That set is pretty old (at least 50 years), in great shape and VERY pretty. Just send me an email and I'll give you the details. jeff@rebeccascottage.com ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
aaaaah they are on the same server, that explains it...I'm on Road Runner (cable)...also work cc.net is slow also and its on T-1...it just started happening a week or so ago I noticed... did you do the coldfusion scripts or did clutch? just curious... ------------------
Chen: If you are in Austin, that is the problem. Apparently, there is some issue with Road Runner in Austin and this particular ISP. Hell, it might be Road Runner everywhere, I don't know. Clutch did all the CF, God bless him. ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
"week or so ago" ... at work on a T1 too. Oh man that is so frustrating. For about 9-10 days now (I'm on Austin RoadRunner, ChenZen is on Houston Roadrunner but that doesn't explain his work's T1) all pages on our host's server are so slow they're virtuall unloadable. But here's the problem. They all load fine and fast for me at work, or using any other ISP. Just not on RoadRunner. But on RoadRunner everything else is fast, fine, etc. Smooth.... no problems. Even the trace route to cc.net comes up without glaring holes. I can't figure out the problem because it seems to be one point. Very strange. May be time to look for new hosting. ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
