    Houston trades:
SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 41.7 minutes)
PF Eddie Griffin (8.6 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.1 apg in 24.5 minutes)
PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 20.6 minutes)
SF Glen Rice (9.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.1 apg in 24.7 minutes)

    Houston receives:
PF Brian Grant (10.3 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 1.3 apg in 32.2 minutes)
SG Eddie Jones (18.5 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.7 apg in 38.1 minutes)
Plus Miami's 1st Round pick after the lottery (if it is the #4 pick, as it probably will be)
Change in team outlook: -14.7 ppg, -1.2 rpg, and -1.1 apg.

    Miami receives:
SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 73 games)
PF Eddie Griffin (8.6 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.1 apg in 77 games)
PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 67 games)
SF Glen Rice (9.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.1 apg in 62 games)
Change in team outlook: +14.7 ppg, +1.2 rpg, and +1.1 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Why would Miami do such a trade? First, they get gobs of cap room next summer when the Glen Rice, Anthony Carter and LaPhonso Ellis contracts expire. They still get veterans in return from the Rockets, but more cap-friendly veterans. They can re-sign Mourning for one season to give him a last shot, and take the benefit of his cap space next summer if it doesn't pan out. They get out of four years of overpriced deals owing to Jones and Grant. And the number four pick is not as valuable as a top three pick, when there are three studs sitting at the top of the draft.

And with the #4 pick, the Houston Rockets select . . . T. J. Ford!

So we'll be the first NBA team since the 50's to have a pair of guards averaging less than 6' or less? And which one guards Kobe, Kirilenko, Bonzi or Anderson, Ray Allen, Finley or NVE, Penny, Manu, or Christie?

I love TJ...just not next to Francis.

We could give Eddie Jones more PT when we need a stopper against a top shooting guard. Francis would swing between the 1 and 2, depending on matchups.

    Yo Chico Joe!!! THAT'S WONDERFUL.

Okay. First....we would be giving up A LOT...Griffin, Rice, Taylor, and Mobley. Eddie Jones would be good...and Brian Grant would be nice.

But if we got TJ Ford...lol. Steve Francis, TJ Ford, and Eddie Jones?

I'd rather get Caron Butler! Or...draft Chris Bosh or Emeka Okafor!

    WHOOO.

    I wish.

This is comical. Eddie Jones and Lebron James for two scrubs? Brian Grant and Lebron for Eddie and Cuttino 'might' be good? Nobody in there right mind would give us Lebron, Carmelo, or Darko for Cat and Eddie. They are 3 potential superstars. Eddie is a scrub and Cuttino thinks hes awesome...little does he realize he ruins the Rockets.

The fact you said 'might' implies you might not do it. Which is ludicrous. If the Rockets didnt do that it would be as comical as umm say Trading 3 first round picks(One Richard Jefferson) for Eddie Griffin. Now that would be a nightmare!
