    They changed the format for CHL holders a while ago. My renewal CHL looks just like that.

    they are also much thinner and more flimsy.

    If you're going to do a Texan skyline, it should probably be Austin's. But, there's no need to do a skyline. Especially considering the city wouldn't be very important if it wasn't the capital.

    Could at least give us the option of a vanity skyline of Texas cities.

    My license is expiring soon (July), do I have to go to the DPS to do it or can I do something online? Thanks in advance.

    WTF... No! I renewed my license YESTERDAY.

    Even the new license plates suck.

    You can do it online if you are over 18.

    The word "Texas" should have been written Old English style, or at least put an oversized Texas flag somewhere, that way other states would know not to mess with you. Unfortunately, now the TDL looks gayer than a Hawaiian DL.

    I commented yesterday to my wife how my license expires in August of this year. I have to agree that the new design is lame. Oh well, it is what it is.

    Thanks to the poster that included the link, I went ahead and renewed while it was fresh on my mind.

    You get the same drivers license as everyone else in the state - it doesn't matter if you renew online or in person. So yes, you get the new effeminate license. Congratulations! :D
