I started watching the more recent seasons, so I guess thats why I didn't like it at all, the 'road warrior' part was funny for me but that was about it...
Amazing to me how there's essentially "two" south parks... The random toilet humor episodes of seasons 1-9 and then the current events and pop culture driven stuff of seasons 10-12
No I Love south park. It is one of the shows i look forward to every week, episodes as "biggest douche in the world", "make love not Warcraft" and the rainforrest episodes are some of the best comedy episode made IMHO. I just prefer the south park episode were they are critical, and not the toilet humor episodes.
I hear you. 'Make Love Not Warcraft' I think was the start of a new direction and a new type of fanbase. While I think some of the current event preachy eps have been good I have found the actual comedy less and less each new season... this episode was just great old school stupid pointless toilet humor, I can understand some people don't like this sort of thing.
i saw 1/2 of last night till my roommate started jabbering about some crap and i got a phone call, i'll watch the rest tonight but it looked to be gold you're a gay fish
I dont really like some of the new episodes because they try to be dramatic. They need to go back to making episodes like Asspen, one of my top 5 favorite SP episodes
good ep Spoiler other than the dissection of cartman's flaming ego, the carlos mencia bashing was spot on
this is the closest they have gotten to classic SP in a while Although this had celebs in it, it really wasn't like most of their terrible pop culture episodes. It was more like the Biggest Douche in the Universe Episode.
I want this song on my iphone!!!!!!!!! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9zsDQO_K5yM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9zsDQO_K5yM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> By far his best work!
"I JUST WANT TO BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM" Kanye's blog responding to the SP episode http://www.kanyeuniversecity.com/bl...-1_4_2009_0_0&em3298=&em3282=&em3281=&em3161=
this is what i don't get about some people (not this post directly) who say the classic south parks (first 4-5 seasons) didn't have pop culture, celebrities, political agendas in them. it's been years since i've watched season 1, but just looking at the episode guide, they were poking fun as early as episode 109 (starvin' marvin) which has sally struthers in it, and 112 with barbara streisand.
Indeed. South hasn't been non-stop brainless humor since the middle of the season 1. This episode was a little bit better than the queef one, though.
