Tonight's South Park was one of my favorite in a long time. It may not have been as funny to everyone, but I for one enjoy cheap toilet humor. I laughed so hard I cried...and that happened a couple times. The Road Warrior Queef! I'm glad I started watching again!
I love that they finally went back to the basics. Not hilarious, but best episode of the year. also, did anyone catch the new Reno 911 afterwords? They kicked off 3 main cast members.....wtf?
That was ****ing funny... back to the old toilet humor stuff... kinda of annoying the end but still a very wrong and funny episode. The bit in the senate where they were doing different farts and queefs was hilarious.
I didn't find that episode funny at all. I do not like the toilet humor, that was one of the reasons I didn't watch southpark when it began. and the first episode i ever watched was "make love not warcraft". I have never liked an episode when Terrence and Phillip where important. Those just are not funny to me. I didn't even finish the episode.
I know its not for everyone but im sure most south park fans appreciated it. SP for me had been in a gradual decline the last few series so it was good to see one like this. Your not one of these people that just post about shows they don't like are you? I have never seen the point in that.
I watched the whole thing and have to say I agree with arno_ed. This episode just wasn't funny. Terrence and Phillip aren't funny. This season in general hasn't been too great... I did like season 12, though.
I thought it was the worst episode of the season. I didn't watch much of it. IMO: 1) The Coon 2) Margaritaville 3) The Ring 4) Eat, Pray, Queef
This episode was classic South Park if you didn't like it you probably haven't been watching south park that long or I dunno but to me it was classic south park and very funny.
I think southpark is running out of ideas. here's the basic formula for the new shows: 1.) Take a current social issue. 2.) Have the adults over react to the issue at an absurd level. 3.) Have the kids be on the opposite end then the adults. 4.) Make the kids right with some ridiculous speech that can go either way. 5.) The end. Not too much originality anymore.
They've been using that formula pretty much since season one. I actually think the new season is a return to what had made South Park so great. Maybe it's not quite on par with some of their best season, but it's a lot better than last season.
They definitely have with this latest episode and "the coon" to a lesser extent. and it doesn't take much to be better than last season, that was a pile of crap
Totally agree. South Park has always blurred the boundaries between what is offensive but intelligent/funny and what is just plain offensive. Last season I think went a little too far...and none of it was even funny.
I've watched since the beginning but I have a short memory. Watching the Queef episode now. Definitely NOT current events, but 100% HILARIOUS.
If you guys did not find the last episode funny than maybe SP just is not your thing. btw, I can not understand how some people do not think Terrance and Phillip are funny. Damn hilarious imo. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XU_grXxvwLU&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XU_grXxvwLU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
certainly had its moments, and is a classic season 1 type episode... but maybe i've grown up since season 1. i'll agree with smokey on this one, worst of the season thus far. the scene in the senate was real funny though.
