dang your right...we only play Utah 3 times this year...guess we gotta get the boo birds out two times as much on the night they come
He didn't do much for Finals ratings. Hope the players pick up Adelman's system fast because they've got a lot of games against playoff teams early on.
if it makes u feel any better, the Celtics only have 10 national televised games not couting the NBATV games. thats kinda low with all the hype the past 2-3 days noticed that we only play at LAL once and thats the opening game. May make the trip to the Clips game in April and have a road trip to SA, then come back the following night for the Suns.
Umm where have you been? We have a new coach and new players, we are no longer "boring". The only games I watch are Rockets so i disagree about the boring part. It's not about being a entertaining team. Lakers, Cavs and Heat aren't exactly entertaining teams and they got more games on TV than the Rockets. It's always about the star power but you'd think Yao and T-Mac alone should get you 20+ games. But that's not the case. I guess you have to be LeBron, Kobe or Wade to get more national tv exposure.

The Rockets are playing everybody that was in the Western Conf. playoffs in the first month. You don't even have to look at another schedule to figure out that this is the toughest schedule in the league for the first month. I've heard that the NBA schedules are computer generated, but it looks like somebody hit the edit button.
the funny thing is that everyone says they have the toughest schedule to start off too, but i'll admit that the rockets do have a lot of tough games to begin the season but its better to get these guys tested. rather have them go through the hard gel and that way when a softer portion in the schedule pops up the team wouldnt lose any "gimme" games because of lack of focus or discipline
We'll have at least 16 more National TV games during the playoffs, so don't worry about the regular season.
I did a quick breakdown of the schedule below. The letters/numbers behind certain games are explained at the bottom. October - 1 Away, 0 Home Tue 30 @ L.A. Clippers b = back-to-back game t = back-to-back has travel in between games c = back-to-back contains one game against a projected contender cc = back-to-back contains two games against projected contenders r = second half of back-to-back is on the road 4 = last game of a four-games-in-four-nights run 18 back-to-back games - nearly HALF of our games will be played as part of a back-to-back situation and 16 of them will be part of a four-games-in-four-nights swing. All 18 are travel games 10 of them end in a road game 4 stretches of four games in four nights 8 of them have us facing contenders in BOTH games 4 of them have us facing at least one contender in one of the games In short, that is a brutal schedule in places.
