Once again, Hayes is our starting center, and an indisputable choice. This says a lot about the status of the team. Fans set their expectations high since Summer time, and by end of Feb, we got this. DM is not bad at all, he's smart and funny, and he was never ripped off by anyone. Of course, he won't overpay on unproven players, and he won't overpay on proven but over the hill players. I respect that, he won't overpay anything. But, does that make him genius? I don't think so. I believe he's just mediocre for dealing mediocre players. Scola was great for us, but it's not like Spurs doesn't like him or DM outsmarted anyone, but rather the right situation happened to suit Rockets. Are we always going to have such mediocre players in and out deals, as long as DM is our genius GM?
