has anybody been to a brick and mortar store to purchase it? I've been all over brick and mortar stores. I went to the walmart on 290 and tidwell, best buy on 290 and hollister, best buy on 45 and west road, or is that greens road? frys on 45 and west? i think, the best buy in the baybrook area. Target in the baybrook mall area. I guess i'll go ahead and order it. For some reason, i'm more patient looking for it at a B&M instead of ordering it.
i got mine at the deerbrook barnes and noble- have also seen it on the shelf at other locations so call around...
This is cool but what would really be nice would be a box set of the entire play-off run (including the pivotal "CHOKE CITY" depths of despair and subsequent rebirth as "CLUTCH CITY" vs the Phoenix Suns - Vernon Maxwell figured prominently in that turn around).
Yup i pre ordered mine...got one for someone as a gift as well...havne't had a chance to sit down and watch it.
Saw this at Borders (Westheimer and Gessner) but it was $50... still looking for a B&M store that carries it for ~$30 that doesn't require a membership (Costco)... let me know where else you guys see it
It is currently $31.19 at deepdiscountdvd.com, and it has free shipping. So if you are out of state from deepdiscountdvd you won't even have to pay sales tax.
rocketfan gotta say your sig is kinda screwed up you have Walt Freaking WIlliams on the never forget list, but you have OT on the forget list??? you must be young and dont realize the importance of OT in that first Finals run
i think instead of all 7 knick games they should put these 7 game 6,7 vs ny game 2,5 vs utah game 4,7 vs suns game 4 vs blazers also include the entire dream mvp trophy ceremony, hakeem the dream,a bonus compilation of best plays of the season
Maybe that's why he needs the box set I watched the first game the other day, and OT was awesome! He's exactly the sort of player the Rockets could use at the PF for the next 10 years!
I bought my Rockets 93-94 champs dvd at wal-mart the other day. Impressed with the quality of it. Only drawback in my opinion is that there is no pregame for most of the games. The footage starts a minute or so before tip off. Sure is nice to have the fissing footage of the OJ game 5.
