I don't know how people are watching these videos and feeling optimistic. He looked so bad out there. Seems to be in the worst shape of his career. Shot mechanics look terrible. They pieced together his makes which were mostly forced shots, which indicates his overall % was not good. Doesn't look like he's dominating ULTRA weak competition. Got easily flustered by some amateurs, started yelling. Crowd are "so scared" of him they started yelling "overrated" to his face from a few feet away.

I couldn't see a single positive thing out of all the clips of this game. I just took it as: at least he's getting some cardio in.

 

I like it! We need this on our team . Just been looking like a bunch of prissy boys running around . We need toughness

 

Maybe a thread called Dillion doing Dillion things, I can see that thread growing to many pages during his Rockets tenure.

 

He's Vernon Maxwell without the shooting, quickness, condition, clutch gene, passing and understanding his role. So basically only got the defense and rest is all negative.

 

I did not know Dill -ion was strictly female before this.

 

Brooks is a clown show, fake toughness, but positive to altercations.

 

Giving players nicknames like Dame Lily pad.

Neither a reel of him clanking or making shots would mean anything, but somehow, some way, he managed to look worse in his highlights than other players do in their highlights at amateur summer games. I seriously don't take any stock in these things, but I'm a filmmaker man, if these were the best clips available to the editor then the rest is HORRID I guarantee it.

I was expecting the bare minimum to at least look like an NBA player playing against non-NBA players and he doesn't in HIGHLIGHTS. He really doesn't.

There was nothing in that video you can draw optimism from. The only thing you mentioned is if he makes 3's during the regular season like he does in this video. I tell you: if his regular season highlights look like this, it would be bad.

Also, I'm not quick to critique at all. Look at my posting history. I'm ultra positive about all Rockets and rarely critique them, I don't **** on some of our players to elevate others. If I'm critiquing someone, it has to be a really extreme situation. I've already said he has a blank slate from me, but he sucks in this video and thank god it doesn't count.

 

I disagree. I think Tari and Brooks will be throwing punches. That was like watching a clown show.

 

That is boring basketball....good shooting, but YAWN !

Overrated pretend tough guy that didn't want to be 4th or 5tth option
with the Grizz.....what makes people think he will accept that with Houston.

Him thinking he is a #1 option in those pickup games makes him
think he is Tatum in the regular season. Will take away shots and
touches from our kids.

Delay the process

 

That was nothing but a clown show event. I wouldn't want to risk injury or incident playing in something like that if I were a pro.
