Not true. If KD played remain humble and didn't play dirty and act like jerk(which kobe did, remain the elbow to Shane?), no one will hate KD if he played against the rockets. Just look at Roy last playoffs, no one on this board hated him because he played clean!
These ppl hate Durant because he is the threat to take over the spotlight from Kobe. I used to think Durant was overhyped because of the volume he shoots and the low percentage during his rookie season in Seattle, but he proved that he actually is willing to work hard to improve. Now I think he deserve to be an all-stars and hope he can keep improving and doing his stuffs but keep his nice personality, not like Kobe and other ghetto players.
lmao. Once again... you make no sense whatsoever. 1) You're claiming Durant is taking the spotlight away from Kobe... but he already has the spotlight in this series. He's had it since game 1. That's a baseless claim. 2) He is already an all-star. 3) What the hell is a ghetto player?
If you think Kobe is "ghetto", you have no idea what you are talking about. Do you even live in America?
Haha! I'm more ghetto than Kobe, LOL. And I live in Sugarland! If he wants to see ghetto players, let him meet the Denver Nuggets, DeShawn Stevenson, Allen Iverson, Stephen Jackson and Artest! Even Jackson and Artest have toned it down and have changed.
Haha, no I don't live in America, so maybe my definition of ghetto is different than yours. Well, I don't know what DeShawn Stevenson has done... I know Allen Iverson beat up his wife and kick her out of home naked... that's pretty ghetto to me. While Stephen Jackson and Artest take things man to man. I don't see that as ghetto. Having tattoo in America doesn't mean one is a bad person, right? I am not saying Stephen Jackson and Artest were right, but at least they didn't abuse women like a sissy and then use money to settle the case with lawyers.
Or that you have no idea what ghetto is. Kobe is not ghetto. Your "definition", whatever it may be, is just wrong. Seriously guy, you are so far off that I knew you didn't live in this country. Think about that.
Let's hate Durant . . . He's tough competitor, has a nice game, plays within the structure of the team, plays good defense, is humble (and even mentioned why he would rather stay in OKC over notorious big cities), not a flopper (as others have mentioned earlier), has been involved in any criminal investigations (like two NFL QB or a starting SG for the Lakers), does not throw his teammates under the bus (like certain Lakers SG, or a diva-wide receiver who has found himself on the unemployment line), does not snitch on his teammates, doesn't cry about calls, and etc.
To the OP.. read back what you typed and ask yourself if it makes sense. Your either a half-whit or hungry for attention. You should post that comment on a lakers forum bc thats about the only people that dislike him nowadays... dudes a beast
I dont think we should hate on durant i mean he is scoring and not a 1 man show , he dont flop , he dont get all the calls.. he just a hard nosed player on a hard nosed team... u want something to hate check this out http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=119141101430257
The kid's got game. He's humble, works hard, unselfish, not ghetto (good role model for kids), what more can you ask for in a franchise player at age 21? Oh did I mention he's got game?
So you should hate a classy, young, extremely talented player who is a good citizen, has had no character issues/legal problems, and who basically is one of the bright spots in a sport that is becoming overrun with the Hip-Hop/tattoo/thug-life/ghetto moronic nonsense? Ok...
