well i figure if he had knee surgery, then his knees are pretty weak so that would be stressful. either that or he ate a low end indian buffet.
He is not advertising every step of his rehab. He is doing this just to keep his fans who are interested updated on how he's doing. I mean some people might not care about what he is doing but many others are. There are a handful of people out there who would be interested to see the updates on Tmac and his rehab.
After reading many of the post in this thread, I still can't believe people will find ways to bash Tmac. Why can't he just post this image for his fans? This is a boring and long off season so at least we have something to look forward to. So what if he make funny faces when he is working out. I'm sure everyone make funny faces when they work out. Ever been to a gym? Every single guys make funny face when they work out including me. My point is that Tmac is doing this for the people who are interested in seeing his progress this offseason. If he didn't post any pictures or anything, everyone would probably think that he just gave up and disappeared in the bahamas. Stop the bashing already, he is still a Rocket and as a Houston Rocket player, us clutchfans have to support him. I don't care what he did in the past. Everyone makes mistakes. So what he's not Kobe, Lebron or Dwade. He is Tmac is he is our Tmac. He is not as good as those guys but he is our Kobe, Wade and Lebron. He is the best damn player we got on this team. Lets face it, we will never get Lebron James, Kobe, or Dwade. Who knows when and how many more long ugly seasons we have to face until we can finally get that superstar or all star type of player. Until then, Tmac is our guy and we cannot keep hating on him for every little things he did. Sure he cries a lot but every other superstar cries too. I think we all should stop bashing him and start supporting him because he is the best we'll get for a long time.

He has got a lot of mileage,how long will he last? What can Yao do? I wish him well honestly,but we need to be realistic.
I think the cast is good enough to get to the playoffs as is.....and if Tmac bought in, could be a darkhorse contender. The issue is one of trust...trusting others to make plays for him, instead of him trying to make them all himself. Letting Brooks and Lowry set the table and having Tracy play off the ball. Again, his talent is not in question to me, it is his willingness to adapt to a winning system, and that means a lot less touches....in a CONTRACT year. I see smoke..... DD

Yao Ming has even less wins contributed than T-mac during the money season. Except for last year (when he got injured after we went to the 2nd round) Yao was missing during playoff time during the last 3 or so years. So he's a bigger loser than T-mac right? Cuz wins and losses are all that matters....
He will need to trust his teammates and pass without a doubt,however there will be a lot of pressure for him to score as well,especially when Aaron and Luis/Landry are having a hard time. As far as letting Aaron and Lowry setting up the table is concerned,they need to show genuine playmaking ability. It's easy to say that McGrady isn't letting them do their job,but the fact remains that Tracy is still the best passer on the team,despite his ball stopping on occasions. He will want to get more touches in a contract year,but Adelman can get through to him in my opinion. This team will fight hard,especially on defense but the absence of Yao and not having a true PG will prove fatal. They have a slim chance of making it to the playoffs without McGrady,but even if he comes back successfully,they will be hard pressed to make it to the 2nd round. Playing off the ball for Tracy is an obvious weakness,but Lowry and Brooks are not good enough at the 1.
I hope you are right, I just do not see Adelman forcing anything, otherwise Ron would have been sitting all of last season. DD
but you said wins and losses are all that matters right? How come T-mac gets a wins and losses rule but Yao Ming gets an intangible good teammate bonus on your good player/bad player scale? Yao has been the model teammate but the reality is T-mac did more for the team during the playoffs so they balance out IMHO. IMHO they both guilty for failing the team. They were the team's core, and both of them happened to be flawed players (mental weakness, physical weakness). T-mac can't help being mentally weak and having pathetic pain tolerance just as Yao Ming can't help being injury prone because of his 7-6 frame. Its their nature. On one hand you can say T-mac could have hired a shrink/life coach to change his attitude but then again Yao Ming could have gone to Grover for his offseason conditioning, as well as stopped playing for China the moment he broke his foot. Both of them could have ways to circumvent their limitations but they didn't. If you're gonna bash one, bash the other cuz they both failed to deliver during their stay here...
I will criticize whenever either deserves it. If you have been here long enough you know that. And, I love Yao's work ethic etc, but would trade him for the right package, no doubt. However, I think Les is resigned to keeping Yao, so you might as well build up talent around him because he is not a franchise player either. DD
