Why you gotta hate? I don't understand. You don't like these pictures then simply don't open the thread. I mean even if T-mac is doing this to show-off how hard he has worked, at least the few remaining T-mac fans pulling for him are seeing the progress that he is making. I don't understand what the fuss is all about.

We get it you don't like T-mac. You dislike his "feel sorry for me" drama queen persona.

I think that's a bad example. Dwayne Wade didn't need to do it. He didn't do stupid things to hurt his team in the period before he went out. Ergo he had no image to repair.

Luckily he had a bad enough team that he could play 'me-ball' (and he was perfectly right in doing so) and show that he was still a top 3 superstar.

A fair enough point, Tmac does have a lot of image to repair, but to savvy fans all this is fluff, it doesn't matter, it is a sideshow.

All he has to do is show it on the court......nothing more, nothing less.

That's what may happen with the Rockets. We are not gonna have a great team. If only Tracy comes back in shape and his teammates will accept him, he will have a lot of 'space'.

It's important to point out he's following the same road he did earlier in his career, talking or broadcasting about something before it's actually been done. Why not learn from your mistakes instead of falling back on them, especially when you still have the ability to dramatically influence games with your passing ability and vision alone? He's completely lost confidence in his ability to impact games and you're telling me a media campaign is the best way to reinstate it?

Anyways, at the risk of repeating myself, I'm done in this thread.

McGrady is going to get blamed pretty much regardless if he doesn't have a great year. If we heard no news from him this offseason, and if he struggled on his return (not exactly unexpected), you don't think he'd get roasted?

This shows that at least he's working hard. It's better than him wallowing in self-pity and talking about retirement, which I thought would be a real possibility 6 months ago.

I still don't see what the big deal is with tracy. Last year he made a businessa nd career decision which is what a lot of guys should do. Grant Hill took one for the team and ruined his hof career.

Look, I know its hard for fans to separate the good for the player vs the good for the team, but players have to be selfish to a point when concerning their bodies and business. No one remembers when paul pierce said he would go down as a great player on a sorry team just before getting allen and garnett. No one remembers the public abuse angled toward the lakers brass by kobe and his flirtation with the clippers not too long ago. Every star player worries or is concerned about their image, money, and winning kinda in that order. Now the lower level guys have the happy to be here kinda mentality and that's cool, but those aren't the guys making the big money getting the blame for big losses.

Seeing is believing and like BimaThug said, its working hand in hand with his image and selling addidas products. I could care less as long as he helps the team win games.

Its pretty much like this.. Remember last season when he can back and was still hurt, everyone was like "He didnt work hard enough" or "He chose not to rehab"

This is pretty much a showing of what he is doing and how hard he is doing to let everyone know he is making progress and that he wants to come back (even if its for a contract). I, personally want to see the pictures and hear about his progress. Some people just like to hate, and I guess it makes sense, but you are not the only ones that are looking at the pictures or hearing the progress. Dont ruin it for others.

Wow...can't anyone be happy that at least he's coming back this year. This is great stuff...keep up the hard work Tmac.

I dont see why people have to hate that he's showing all these rehab pics, He obviously wants the fans to know that hes working hard to come back. Whats the difference in him showing rehab pics while yao is showing workout videos in crutches?

I have no issue with him deciding to do the microfracture, none, he did what was best for his career.

I do have an issue with how he handled the announcement and not working with the Rockets etc.

As I said, the only way to repair his image is to do it on the floor, I am not certain the Rockets will give him a chance to play his game though, and I forsee major issues with the Team type of game Adelman wants to run and the one Tmac is used to playing.

    We shall see...

Actually, from all that has been 'reported' McG also has to repair himself in the 'locker room'.

To be TMc again McG will also have to repair himself with the greater stage of 'worldwide' opinion, amongst his peers and we the fanbase (of the Rox and the NBA).

Tmac may have dug big holes for himself, and he hasn't proven anything on the court yet.

However, doing both advertising, and rehab, doesn't mean he isn't working hard at the rehab. It is possible to do both.

"you're damned if you do, and damned if you don't"

there is some major particihating going on in here for no reason. If we didnt have these videos and pictures, everyone (cough DD cough) would claim that he is lazy and probably just partying it up in Vegas etc etc.

for those that hate tmac, want him traded, and would rather not look at the pics... don't. i personally think that you guys want him to fail hardcore and land flat on his face. you are not really rooting for him, so stop pretending like you are.

Um I'm not sure what you are talking about. But every year before the season starts T-mac says HIMSELF he's ready and that he's been working out hard. Hell there are even videos of him working hard with his personal trainer at HIS house.. He talks about how doctors have cleared him over and over again.. This crap isn't new.. Don't get me wrong I do want him to be his All-Star high flying self only so that his TRADE value can be sky high, and we can ship his A#@ out of here.

yes dwade did do this. hell, he has cameras following him AGAIN this offseason at attack athletics. go to gettyimages and type in dwayne wade and you'll see.

just b/c tracy mcgrady is a rocket and this is a rockets fan, so we just care about the status of tmac.

i'm sure you go to a heat board and it's filled with wade's offseason pics.
