Montrezl Harrell, KJ McDaniels. We have newfound optimism and outlook for their play next season. Some of us wanted to see them get more minutes, with Montrezl's energy and defensive rebounding that seems top notch to me, never got much minutes with last year's regime. Regardless if Morey had a hand in who played last season, we have reason to believe it's going to be all D'antoni's decision on who sees the floor. I hope he likes what he sees in these 2 because I think they can have an impact on games that they never had a chance to last season
im watching the summer league and it looks like KJ still can't shoot and Montrezl still plays with Bev-like hustle.
Ill take wiltjer over harell this teams needs shooters at the 4, don't see Harrell soon anything his year but messing up our spacing
Trez needs to push more refs. We saw flashes this past season but he needs to do it on a more regular basis. That's what separates the average guys from the stars in this league. Consistency.
beasley and capela are gonnabe in the rotation and they're on cheap contracts. they could've saved a ton of money if they decided to use kj and harrel too. in this new cba that would've been a really good move. 4 regular becnh players combining for less than 5-6m. they're not the best fit for mda's system but still worth a try. just need the right starters i've been saying this alot but thats cuz this is a huge opportunity most teams dont have. morey is the kinda person to take advantage.
