by the way wnes, I just read 3 separate stories on the incident and not one of them mentions it was a Fox News crew. They all say it was an AP Television crew. Even Fox News' website doesn't say the video was from a Fox News crew.
Growing up in Houston during the 70's, Rule #1: 1. If the cops have to chase you, you will get an ass whooping. Rule #2: 2. If you resist arrest, you will get an ass whooping. Why anyone would resist arrest is beyond me. I'm not saying the cops are ever justified in whooping ass, but let's just say, "I understand." With a nod to Chris Rock.
What a bunch of b****es! Four guys to pound a senior citizen? What, he was drunk in the French Quarter? No way.
So you understand that cops can beat anyone anytime with little to no provocation? Rocket River Glad I didn't grow up with the GESTAPO
That is not what I believe, nor understand, nor what I posted. Beatings are never justified, however, if you are running, or resisting, the odds that you're going to get a beating increase substantially. Would you not agree? We learned from our local Gestapo cops to say "yes sir" and "no sir" and to hold very still to avoid being found belly up in a bayou.
I don't get it. There were four police officers involved in the 'arrest'. But why are only three of them being suspended and invastigated?
