People bashing Rafer on this thread > Immature. Rafer hasnt been shooting well, but he has been a low turnover guy, and a good floor general. If you look at his stats, he has been consistent over his career. His shooting will improve. Think of it like Berkman getting off to a slow start hitting. Rafer is not going to shoot 20% over the course of a season. And for all of you asking for Steve to get minutes? Quit romanticising his abilities. He's not very good at running the break, throwing the ball into the post, distributing, and his decision making skills are not so hot. Yes, he is more athletic, is a good iso player, and has a better jumper...but those are qualities you need in a shooting guard, not a point. Quit bashing our players, and support your team. Adelman has him out there for a reason.
Rafer have never shot well for rox, he put up decent numbers last season, but more than 60% of his shots are wide open shots. He was never a floor general, and almost all his floaters and 3p attempt are the same as turnovers. Reasons we want steve: 1)he cant play worst then rafer and james right now 2)he sure is better than synder 3)his the franchise of the yesteryears, and his back 4)just because he is named Steve Francis Best case senario: SF3 comeback and got 25-6-6 for the next couple of games that tmac is not playing. Worst case senario: he score 0 points and make 10 turnovers, hence endding all talk of play steve. Win-win situation, if you ask me. "we want steve!"
