I get you. And, I probably would not have known about this NM guy if not for you. Just disappointed there was no reference to what Zechariah thought of stalking during the exile in Babylon.

Look at Biden, hitting on all them 14 year olds. He should run for office in Alabama.

Apples to oranges. Dems to repugs. Really can't compare the two.

His decision to run for mayor was up to him and had little to do with media coverage. Media coverage was huge. It is probably in large part because of that media coverage that his mayoral campaign turned out like it did. Yes, they really did get him.

By the way, if you are saying that Moore has unfair treatment compared to Wiener because Wiener ran for office, that makes zero sense. Look at what Moore is doing. Yet, despite this being a fresher story, Moore has a much better chance of actually winning his election. Wiener didn't ever really have a chance in his run. So if running for office is a sign of unfair media coverage, then it's pretty much a toss-up between Wiener and Moore. They both ran for office despite the charges against them.

And he got blown out in that race. He was in the low single digits in the primary. Doesn't seem like he really profited from any of it.

Weiner's campaign didn't get effectively shut down until the SECOND accusation...which turned out to be true. That's the point. Moore will never get a second chance and shouldn't.

Wiener didn't get a second chance ever. He never had a chance in the mayoral race. It wasn't even close. He couldn't even make it to be the nominee.

Again running for office is something every person has the opportunity to do regardless of any media coverage.

Not quite. That poll shows that 75% of the people did not favor Wiener. He never had a chance. That was in a race similar to the GOP Primaries with multiple candidates. Once the field was weeded down, he didn't have a chance.

The story headline is "Weiner leads in N.Y. Mayor Poll".

He had 25% of the vote because there were so many candidates. That's like saying Trump won't win the Presidency because he never had above 50% of the Republican primary vote. We all saw how that worked out.

Come on man, I know you to be a pretty good debater here. You're better than this.

Dude, just stop. There are probably better examples but you keep harping on the guy that ended up with less than 5% of the vote in the primary and is now a convicted sexual predator. Who the f*** is supporting him?

Were there any of his defenders using the bible to justify his actions like Moore is getting?

Dems watched Weiner resign in disgrace from Congress. A couple years later, he runs for Mayor of NYC. On June 23rd of that year he led ALL Democrats in polling. Only after he was found sexting again did they abandon him.

In other words, a sex scandal wasn't such a big deal until he did it twice. That's a double standard sir.

I think this means that we should just have state run media to make sure that both sides get exactly the same amount of equal coverage so that panties don't wadded.

Well, I disagree that he would have ever won. But that wasn't even the point. Your point was that Democrats were forgiving of Wiener and hypocritical. It's hard to make that claim when 75% of the people voting preferred somebody other than Wiener.

Moore did it multiple times. That isn't even counting the most recent lady who came forward. I don't know how much corroboration that accuser has. But the initial ones were very well corroborated.

Well, I guess its possible if he won the primary that the 75% of dems who didn't intially support him would have gone Republican.

But seeing as how that's never happened before, I sincerely doubt it.

And? Moore is scummy and should step down. We are in agreement there.
