That over 2 seasons worth of basketball games and he played lots of minutes in all those games. So only Delfino, Harden, Asik, Garcia, and Brooks have played more than 2 seasons worth of games and only Delfino, Harden, and brooks have played more total minutes than McHale's playoff minutes.
Because we'll be the least experienced lineup ever to make the playoffs. If simple talent won games, then there wouldn't be so many perennial lottery teams. Our coach has done a great job getting the players to play good basketball.
Agreed. IMO, McHale is fine in terms of coaching. He has his flaws, but who doesn't? This is a young team. So I guess he could act more like a father figure chiding the players' effort and commitment. It wouldn't work as well if this was a veteran team with bigger egos. When coach loses respect from his players, he's pretty much done. I hope McHale knows when to rein in the public criticism at the right time.
I thought this was funny of Jonathan Feigen, in his article about last night's rout: http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2013/03/rockets-launch-past-suns-in-second-quarter/
Interesting. But weird. As if they were gassed. When actually they huddled and resolved to play defense, right? But it looks like a clear reference!
