Diamondbacks Manager Bob Brenly was fired today. Could he replace Jimy Williams? Brenly seems like a guy that could get this club fired up.

Ask the defending champions if they want to switch their manager out for a 70 year old that hasn't managed in the bigs in over 10 years.
Your right, old "Trader Jack" became the manager for the Reds in '97. But nevertheless, it was a mid-season managerial change and a 70 year old manager at that.
but he wasn't fired by the Reds and manged the Marlins to a title in the same season. My point is that Brenly is probably burned out and needs the rest of the season to decide what direction he should to take.
I would love to have back Larry Dierker(if interested) or Phil Garner. I like to keep it in the Stros family.
Bob Brenly is an idiot. He won a world series because he had great pitching. He isn't truthful with his players and unless your name is Randy or Curt you better not have one bad game or there is a good chance you will be gone. He is definitely not what this team needs. You think 1M is unconventional and does things randomly. Put a thousand ideas in a hat and draw them out one by one. That still would not be as random as Bob Brenly.
