Lupe is probably my favorite rapper right now, but do not like this song.

I tried listening to it last night and didn't like it. I thought I'd try again today... still don't like it. It's painful to listen to. I still generally like the stuff he puts out, though.

loved hip hop back in the day. was actually driving to a hearing this afternoon listening to Tribe's Low End Theory

but i'd far prefer a margarita and fajitas from Lupe Tortilla to today's hip hop.

Haha, nothing wrong with a bit of DC Talk nostalgia.

I always hoped they'd get back together.

DC Talk geez man... In church long time back half expecting them to shove it down my throat, it was other church goers denial of DC Talk as an acceptable rap alternative that gave me hope they actually werent all crazy, mindless Jesus drones.

They were alright. Probably woulda hated them if I was church pressured into them

Lupe is not even close to being the best rapper. His lyrics make absolutely no sense. It's OK to use a wide vocabulary, but at least try to make some sense.

For rappers who recently released an album, MF Doom and Kid Cudi are better.. just off the top of my head.

    kid cudi is nice...

seems like lupe is way over your head. you have to be a little knowledgeable. lots of metaphors too. i catch something new everytime i go through a lupe album or mixtape

i like lupe.. have his albums.. but sometimes i just can't get passed the fact that at the end of his lines he takes a quick breath and makes a little noise.. this bothered me a lot on Food & Liquor and now i hear it in all his songs.. annoys me.. but he's good

    anyone else notice this?
