I like Richard Justice, Robertson, and Blinebury, but I do believe John Lopez is the worst excuse for a newspaper sports columnist that I have ever read.
I used to think the same thing. But, I love to have the paper to read while I eat. Last semester I bought the chronicle, 20 weeks for $20. It was a great deal, $1 a week for the chronicle. I love the sports section. It was my favorite thing to do while eating breakfast and preparring for the coming day.
I want to order the Chronicle, to read while I work out in the morning... But I'm afraid they won't deliver inside my apartment complex or that it won't show up by the time I leave for my morning workout. I guess I'll continue reading my SI, TSN, PC Mag, Maxim, and Stuff instead.
5am. When I visit my parents on occaisional weekends, sometimes the paper is there at that time, sometimes not. I don't want to pay for it if I can't be assured of reading it at the only free time I have in a given day.
I prefer the old layout myself. The new layout reminds me of the good ol' Houston Post. Its funny, the sports section seems out of place with the others. Its the only section that changed while the others are the same.
I'm getting a better deal: there's been a paper in my yard every day for the past 6 months, didn't order it & am not paying for it.
Dude, we've been trying to tell you, the yard across the street isn't your yard. Wanna catch some high school baseball tonight?
Yeah, why not? Katy v. Kingwood at Jersey Village at 5. You gonna be at your pool today? I'm almost done with work...
Cool. I'll give you a shout tomorrow. Not sure what's going on, but I'll definitely be drinking as it's the day off from my diet.
Ahem. Dukes of Houston. Pennison's Sugarland. 9:30PM. Ahem. I mean, if you're gonna be drinking.......come drink with the pros!
That's right. May have to make it down there. What was the name of the place again? Starts with an "s", I remember that much...I think.
Pennison's Pub in Sugarland. Settler's Way @ Hwy 6. 9:30 PM till 1:30 AM this Saturday night 6/5/04. Come get drunk and get down with the downhome gutbucket buttshaking Bayou City blues-tone of the Dukes of Houston. Be there or be square! And that goes for the rest of you Yardbirds as well!!!!
Told you it started with an "s". Lemme make sure that RM95's Girl hasn't planned something already. What's the cover look like?
