At this point the fans seem to be the one's caring about the Michael Jordan comparison not LeBron.

I'm sure he made a decision for himself and that was to go to Miami. If he had listened to fans and the media he would not have made this decision.

People should feel exactly the same after that. A funny/interesting commercial shouldn't change a thing. Of course that's what Nike is trying to do. And they'll probably be successful in doing so. It's our fault as fans and consumers to let this type of stuff change our opinions. Basing your stance on this issue with just the facts makes a whole lot more sense.

    This is just like politics.

Great commercial. In the end it was his decision to make and he made it by moving on with his life to Miami while stomping on the hearts of millions of Cleveland sports fans. Yes it was really crummy for those fans but Lebron wasn't going to stay somewhere he really didn't want to for other people's enjoyment of a SPORT.

he could go where he wants, do what he wants, people wll live with that, there will be those wiht hate, but his hate this summer is from the way he went about it and the way he handeled it, if thatst just him being him, than be prepared for the criticism and just being cockeyed and do what you do, don't complain about it being racisim and wondering why people hate you since you 'spoil' everyone

It's in ESPN, Nike and Stern's agenda that he wins a championship ring as the undisputed No.1 and they can crown him as the MJ heir.

But he's not gonna be able to do that in Heat, as most NBA legends agree, and he may never will. How hard is it to understand that?

That would be nice, just in terms of what decent human beings typically do after they've been buttholes, yes. So... yes.

The rest of your questions aren't important, but I like the part where you're ripping up the basketball court with the construction equipment. That was cool, and just think: the refs would still call the foul on the other team! "No, you got him, you totally slapped the front end loader before it took your head off."

What will define him as the undisputed #1 if they won the title? Would it be leading the team in points, winning the MVP, what? Let's get you on record prior to tipoff, so we can avoid excuses at the end.

Cool commercial. basketball commercials are just the best.

I am pretty sure by the end of the year the hate will die down and most people will like him again.

Very perceptive, you're a smart man.

This commercial doesn't mean a thing. You can't play victim now, you did a sh!tty thing and the world turned on you for it. I don't think this will go away either. Yes he hurt his chances at the hall of fame, yes he ruined his legacy, yes you should stop listening to your friends. They are your friends, they are not intelligent business people.

Is there any way he can hire Nike to advise him on EVERYTHING?

on PTI today Kornheiser was saying how this commercial ripped MJ in the Hall of Fame scene...I didn't see that at all, did I miss something or was he trying to make something out of nothing?
