So team B has a bunch of fill in scrubs until their real starters arrive next week. Lowry will be playing against Avery Bradley? or Isaiah Thomas?? today. I think they forgot to give group F a point guard.
I went by today and saw most of all four games. There was only an average of about 40 people in the audience watching. Players were walking around casually and talking to everybody. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. I realize this wasn't the NBA playoffs, but here are some random thoughts and observations based on what I saw today: Coby Carl is terrible. Derrick Caracter sucks, but not as bad as I thought. JJ Hickson is a really high energy guy and has an amazing motor. TJ Ford and Sebastian Telfair both looked good offensively and not very good defensively. Tony Allen is underrated as a player. Jeremy Evans is going to be a nice role player in the NBA. Jared Dudley is pretty unathletic, but he gets the job done. I was impressed by him. Austin Daye has good skills, but is even skinnier in person than on tv. Dorel Wright didn't impress me too much besides his outside shooting. Demar Derozan is going to be a good rotation player in the league. Maggette gets to the basket easily and can score, but he has a tendency to ball hog. Mo Williams played well. Melvin Ely, Jamal Tinsley, and Jermaine O'Neal have fallen off. Damon Jones never shuts up on the court. Rashard runs the court real well. Dahntay Jones has improved his outside shot. Kwahi didn't really show me much. Lowry looked like he was in decent shape...not overweight....he controlled the tempo well and was a good facilitator. His 3 pt shot didn't look good and I didn't see anything new offensively other than his normal drive to the basket in order to draw contact and get to the free throw line. He was the only Rocket that showed up today. Basically, nothing we didn't know already so you can call me captain obvious, but it was fun watching and interacting with these players up close. Highlight of the night was Mo Williams hitting the game-winning shot during the 4th and final game of the day. I've included some pics, but I apologize for the poor quality. I screwed up some settings on my camera and it started taking crappy pics and it ran out of battery at the beginning of the third game. I'll go to a few more games and hopefully the pics will be better. https://docs.google.com/a/unlv.neva...FZoMElpdVdzVmc2UFlNNldkdExPMUE&hl=en_US#gid=0
thanks for the pictures and update. looking at the stat sheet, it looks like maggette played on lowry's team? and adding up the point totals it seems like "we" won. they should really post it somewhere on the site in an easy to read way

Lowry dropped 50 today according to Tony Allen. Good to see him playing well, though I wouldn't put much into these stats, as most of these guys seem to put up video game numbers.
