New Kings, T-Wolves, Magic uniforms all leaked.......

Is it just me or is it more important that uniform designs be unique than pleasant looking? I miss the days when Denver had that ugly rainbow city design. But at least it gave them an identity. Now all these uniforms look alike...maybe they're nice, but I think it's better if they were unique even at the expense of looking ugly.

You've got well over half the league in "darks". I highly doubt the league will allow any more. Also, I really don't get the fascination with a Red/Black alternate; the numbers and names will be ridiculously hard to read, they'll look extremely similar to the Bulls road alternate, and black has never been a Rockets color. When the Raiders wore black, it was shocking and brash. When a team does it now, its hackneyed and drab.

I love the Rockets colors; adding in the yellow would just be icing on the cake. The Rockets are fairly unique in that they are one of only 4 teams who don't use either Black, Blue or Purple as one of their primary colors; two of those (Toronto and Milwaukee, just eliminated purple in the last few years), and the lone remaining team, New Orleans, uses purple as a predominant accent color.

I thought those were one of the coolest jerseys ever. Because of the uniqueness factor you mentioned. Ugly? maybe, maybe no.. not to me.

 

I have that jersey, I think they look cool.

 

Does every team need a logo just below the back of the neck? Is that the trend? Due to the somewhat small image, the TWolves neck logo makes it kind of look like a Memphis jersey.

I actually don't like that.

If the team is named Timberwolves, the jersey should read Timberwolves, not Wolves.
If the team is named Supersonics, the jersey should read Supersonics, not Sonics.
If the team is named Trailblazers, the jersey should read Trailblazers, not Blazers.

If they don't like their team name, they should change the team name. But the jersey should represent.

It's not as bad as the team name across the ass.

 

I kinda like the T-Wolves uni's. I also appreciate unique uniforms. My wife liked the old Utah uniforms with the mountains in two tone purple. She bought several Barbie dolls with old NBA uniforms when she thought our son was going to be a girl. We have Utah, as well as the "pajama Rocket" uniform Barbie. They might be worth something on EBay, who knows.

Actually, though "Knickerbockers" was their original name, I believe they officially changed the name to Knicks.
