yeah i heard the same thing. he said there was a third blue jersey. i know he's wrong though because tim has said more than once that you can't have a third alternate uni in the first year. and there's definitely no blue, that's not even one of our colors anymore. anyways he said it was many months back when he saw it so i'm sure it's nothing close to what the new ones will be.

Are those the final designs of the Rockets Jerseys in the NBA live screenshots? I agree they look very plain. I think they would look nice with black stripes with the main red color.

My god; the more and more I look at the logo on the shorts, I think to myself: 'What the ****?!?!?!'

    They look HIDEOUS.

    I like the jerseys, though.

I think we will all look back on this logo 5 years from now asking the same question.

But the jersies look a little messy. I have a feeling they will look much better int he final released version.

I still think the Cavs jersey is phenomenal. Very clean, very nice.

    I'll buy this game.

the problem with graphic design is that you have to please the client. les is a demanding new yorker who knows nothing about design. i know eiko and she presented him with tons of designs. she said he picked one that was about middle of the road. what can you do?

    Tell us more...

(Just don't say where you are, as many posters on this site have threatened to stab her with her design). ;):D

i am also a designer. i know her through mutual friends. she is legendary in japan. won the academy award for costume design in america and is a regular designing sets for operas in europe. i don't love the new logo. i would have done something far more minimal, but it's not bad. it is far better than the last. you just can't please everyone with design- it's too subjective.

Well that's just the point; she's a fashion designer, not a logo designer.

Why was she hired to do both!?!??! Couldn't they get someone with more of an artistic mindset to collaborate with her?

no point getting into a debate about design versus art. she is an artist AND a designer. her experience isn't heavy in typography and this may be the issue. i think the uniforms will be cool with the weak point being the logo----alas.

Yep, that was me..........Way back when the first image of Cuttino appeared (I believe that was the time this happened), I had known a little info on the uniform and people were asking for descriptions. People didnt believe me despite my reliable past. People thought I was crazy when I said on the shorts design to "think Star Trek" becasue of the "funky lookin triangle" which resembled the Star Trek trinagular logo.

    Well, am I crazy now?

Looks like I will finally get the last laugh........just like when I provided the spoiler on the Magic's new uniforms.

I think the new Jerseys look great! Love the shorts! I really like the "Star Trek" looking stripes on the short with the "R" logo in the middle. That looks sharp!

Great find on those game screen captures!
