i don't want this forum shutdown because one person flips out and says things like "fuuuuck yourself" etc. halfbreed i'm sure you can see he has gone way over the line and needs a break.

That's not true. I find Gwayneco has made more than a handfull posts in GARM. Your search parameters weren't set correctly, Sammy.

Well, admittedly, not many. I have been a Rockets fans off and on since about 1979 or so, but I lost interest in the NBA in the late 90s.

You're right, I had the wrong box filled out, he had a few posts in there. My mistake.

Actually the worst thing I have seen on this board is people accused of being traitors and hoping that our troops fail, and that some posters are anti-American.

gwayneco's comments are probably the second worst I've seen, and I believe he has made some of the first type as well.

Ok, I'm declaring a unilateral and unconditional cease-fire. I expect no quarter for any of my previous statements and I'll stoically take the heat.

Post like this is so unnecessary. I had very heated exchanges with both SamFisher, whom I agree with mostly except for perhaps every PRC-related topic, and gwayneco, whose ideological view is often on the very opposite end of mine. But I don't want to see either one get banned, let alone wishing for bad thing happen to them. What we outsiders should do is to be a peace broker, rather than adding more fuel to the fire. Piling on or taking side in situation like this by engaging in more vile personal attacks is the last thing we need here.

You've got it, gwayneco. I'll start putting, "with all due respect," again, at the beginning of anything critical. ;)
Clean slate, and I'll turn down the Bunsen Burner.

Now that that's settled...I find that I don't post in the GARM that much, either.

I didn't really realize it until it was brought up about gwayneco in here. I stay in the Hangout forums (TAC, Hangout, D&D). I'm a pretty big Rockets fan, too.

It's weird to say but I find the GARM scarier and less productive sometimes than the D&D. Now THAT'S saying something.

I read the GARM, but it's a lot harder to find the great posts than it used to be, because of the volume of posters/members we have now. There have been some terrific newcomers, but I'm sure I've missed some of their posts, as well as some of the regulars that I read religiously, if I spot their stuff.

I guess I put that in a convoluted way, lol!

I have concluded that gwayneco and master baiter's ex-wife should get together. They seem to have scored a perfect match on the eHarmony's patented Compatibility Matching System.

I've quit posted in the GARM for the past few months since all the tanking talk started. I just can't get interested in wanting your team to lose.

Getting this train wreck back on track Nightline is doing a piece onUS Gen. Peter Chiarelli who is working on getting US troops to be much more cautious about shooting Iraqis saying that the shoot first when threatened attitude that US troops have is creating more problems than it solves.

With all due respect to him, that's easy for him to say since he's not out leading patrols.
