Samsung's iPhone knockoff looks good. I wonder how the interface will be. That's another thing I like about the phone's popularity...it will force other makers to put out more creative phones. Anyhow, we'll probably hear more about the new iPhone next week.
Yeah, the Samsung looks nice and the review sounds pretty good. I think Blackberry is coming out w/ a touch screen later this year too. Competition is good for prospective buyers.
Can anyone comment on the quality of the iPhone photos/videos they have shot? Is it bad? I know some of the other phones have 5 megapixel cameras but the one I'm thinking of (nokia n95) is $795. Screw that. I kind of wish Apple would have updated the camera with this latest 3g iPhone but...guess not.
these phones are going to be crazy in 5 years. They will not only be making calls, but you can watch 1000 TV channels on them, they'll have 10 megapixel cameras, 60 GB hard drives, T2 internet speeds, voice navigation world wide etc. etc.
I just bought this phone and it is the most awesomest phone I've ever owned. It's thin, light, and fast as hell. Windows Mobile 6, 3G, GPS, Touch Screen, TouchFlo, 3 MP Camera, Video Conferencing HTC Touch Cruise
Best camera phone out there I have to say. Every phone I've come across and compared pictures with doesn't even come close.
I'm T-mobile and love it. I won't switch. I've got my BB curve with wi-fi to get unlimited VOIP. No dropped calls. Phone works in about 10 countries on two continents. Maybe my next phone will be this unlocked iPhone.
so is the new version of the iphone out yet? if i were to get one would i be able to unlock it for tmobile and put it on one of there flex plans so i dont have to get a contract? or do the flex plans they offer; is it mandatory for you to buy a phone from them?
this is a bit of a hijack, but it doesn't deserve its own thread.. I'm an AT&T costumer and I'm considering the AT&T tilt.. does anyone have any experience with it? is it good? how is battery life? are there any price cuts in the near future?
Jobs will have a keynote next Tuesday at WWDC (developers' conference). If the iPhone were to drop to $199 it will be announced here.
I have one, phone is unreal and so is how fast the battery dies. I use direct push email from work so the phone must be charged daily for me.
Some rumors and leaked photos. Just from what I've read over the last few days, I'd say $199 ain't happening, even with an AT&T subsidy. http://blogs.zdnet.com/Apple/?p=1830 Secrets uncovered by the pics: * It’s thinner than the current model * Exchange support * MacBook Air-like bezeling * Stereo speakers on the back * Front facing camera for iChat AV * Multiple colors: red and a dark grey/black * Something about requiring XP or Vista, could this mean iChat AV is coming for Windows?
I'm assuming that "requiring XP or Vista" is only if you want to use a PC. In other words, it won't work on Windows 2000 or less. Because an Apple product not compatible on a Mac is just crazy. Thanks for the pics Hopefully the 3G on the iPhone will be the same 3G that T-Mobile will be using.
battery life for any portable electronics is a huge selling point to me. if the battery life is terrible, i don't care how hip, cool, functional, or great it is, i won't touch it. when their able to develop a iphone or equivalent with similar battery life as my current phone, i'd be game.
