This new one is a lot more organized and I guess it's easier for them to manage since it follows the nba.com format. They probably just hand off most of the information to a league IT coordinator who posts it for them.
It is more crisper. Though with all sports sites its about SCORE STATS SCHEDULE The biggest menu icons they have up top are for Tickets Chat 3D Tour I dont like how they always slip those under the "Team" category as little subcategories making you explore to find them. Make score/stats/schedule stand OUT. But the categories are nicely organized.
Talking about Henry Abbot, IIRC, he still owe Rockets a praise article. That's the 2nd wager between him and Jason Friedman during the Portland playoff series.
I find this layout to be far superior to the last one. Content is arranged more clearly and the page as a whole seems to "breathe" better. For those who think it's still too cluttered, you have to realize it's a site for a multi-million dollar pro sports team that has new content every day and sometimes even hourly. There's more media, news, stats, promos etc. than can be easily digested, so there are two options. One, you put a lot of things on the home page or tie them into the skin of the site. Two, you go with a minimalistic approach to the layout and bury a lot of content in intricate sub-pages where it may be hard to find. When it comes down to it, I think that first option is usually the best way to go.
Definitely an improvement. The "View more statistics" link under Team Leaders is broken, though. http://nba-preview.nba.com/rockets/ They forgot to remove the nba-preview, I guess.
No way dude, this one is way nicer and a lot less cluttered. The old one seemed like way to much was going on, this one is way more organized. Me likey!
A very nice site. Looks more organized and the font sizes are bigger so it is easier to read the contents and also the background looks like someone murdered someone in a cabin and splattered someone's blood all over the place. Happy Halloween in advance to everyone
