Opening on South Main near Reliant.

It's the largest fast food chain in the Philippines, apparently.

Anybody heard of it/experienced it? Do Filipinos know how to deliver the runs as well as American fast food chains do?

It's pretty much the filipino version of McDonald's, but doesn't stick to burgers and fries. They serve chicken, rice, and spaghetti to name a few. I say McDonald's mainly because of the signature mascots.

    I prefer chow king myself.

How is the food though? Americans eat much larger portion sizes as compared to people in other Asian and European countries.

I'm filipino, lived in the phil for past 7 years. Jollibee is not that great. With that said, their chicken is pretty addicting.

Don't care for anything at Jollibee except for the halo halo (dessert drink).

it's ok, nothing special, but maybe addicting at times, burgers are decent but different but their chicken is the big seller

one Filipino restaurant they need to open here is freaking Max's Chicken, that's the good stuff.....

    Basically what everyone already posted.

    Jollibee is just like McDonalds.

It is the biggest fast food chain in the Philippines.

The owner made billions of dollar out of it.

Since Filipinos has a taste for anything sweet, most of the food there are sweet.

I can't wait to go there though.

Its been a while since I tasted their meals.

Not the best meal in the world but it brings back memories.

seems like everyday there's a new fast food chain opening up. i'm almost starting to think they are just money laundering fronts (just ran through seasons 3-4 Breaking bad). the market is just completely saturated right now. With all them millions to spend, they choose to do the most saturated market in America? smh

Jollibee has already conquered the West Coast, so they're going for Houston's large Filipino community next. The Med Center is the perfect starting point for this place considering there are many Filipinos that work in the medical field. I don't think their goal is to have a large presence in Houston, but they do want to target the areas with a dense Filipino population. It might work out well for them.
