    Finally saw the trailer

The first one was a decent B movie...some nice cars, good race scenes. And Vin Diesel was damn near perfect for the lead role. Still, the actually story-line was not only predictable but quite dumb.

So what did the second one do...it took a very mediocre Paul Walker and placed him into the lead role and gave him Tyrese as a partner. Mix in an even dumber and more predictable story and you get one horrible movie.

Now I was pretty skeptical of the third one. But when I finally got around to watching it, by happenstance, I actually found it quite enjoyable. And the thing is, whereas the first two movies tried to mix in some boring, cheesy storyline to push the racing forward, Tokyo Drift was almost the opposite. It's focus stayed on the cars...and in that sense, I think it turned out better than even the first one.

Now I'll give 'em some bonus points for bringing in the original cast as well as Han (the best character) from Tokyo Drift. But they've essentially recycled the storylines from both the first movie and second. What on earth are they thinking? And the trailer did nothing to dispel my thoughts.

i stop watching vin desiel movies. he was good in private ryan and alone in the dark... then they started turning him into an indestructible comic character. his roles are now devoid of any credible sense of humanity.

I'm surprised no one has made a thread being excited about Death Race. Some people just demand quality and depthosity.

Vin Deisal for best high school poser role model! It's too bad he didnt get the title role in Hellboy. There would've been more cars! Vroom vroom!
