just watched it, after the loss classic stuff the intro had to be the most brilliant writing of Seth McFarlene ever I hope they do hookup brian and stewie more often, they are the greatest duo ever, anybody here the commentary they did on the "Freakin Sweet Collection" DVD for Road to Road Island ep? Funniest commentary ever, and they didnt hold back. They were pratically dissing and cursing each other.
I wasn't really impressed with the episode, but it had great moments like all family guy episodes. i think they'll be back to their old form in no time..

haha, i saw this coming, no seriously, i dont find it funny. The talking dog, and the kid trying to kill his mom is really not my type of comedy. But then again, i barely watch any tv anymore. Just coz it sucks so bad.
I find the funniest parts to be when Peter is imagining something or having a flashback. They are the most random things I've ever seen, and I absolutely get a love it. Random = funny to me if it's done right.
i was planning to wait to but when i saw it online last week curiousity and impatience got the best of me. but on another note i read an article today in the la times saying that fox has put arrested development on hold because of family guy and may not continue arrested development (which had its season finale last week) i hope this is not true they can easily put AD on another night if they dont freakin show american idol every single day god its so annoying
It's way more than just the talking dog, and the baby with football shaped head. Family guy uses incredible amounts of culture references, and if you don't know those references, the show probably doesn't make any sense to you.
I've found that the show is incredibly hillarious (literally ROTFLMAO quality) the first time you watch an episode, but they don't hold up well at all to repeated viewings. The whole making outrageous references thing wears pretty thin. Just my $0.02...
This news doesn't surprise me at all. Disappoint? Yes. Surprise? No. Fox has to save their time for shows with titles like that follow the following format: "World's *Blank*iest *Blanks*" This is obviously where I insert the "Futurama" joke about how she is wearing the worlds "Shortiest skirt".
