I liked the song the verses were clean he even took shots at his past albums on it

the hook is not that great but **** its better than the other 98% of songs that use autotune on their hooks would rather have this hook than autotune again

side note: agree that Em killed on that forever song the rest of the song suuuuucks

Say what yall want, but when an rapper goes around picking on the likes of Mariah Carey and Britney Spears, you are NOT a "great" no matter how cute your lyrics are. Eminem may be a great artist, but definitely not a "great".

Mocking Pop Culture appeals on a personal level, Eminem sold children into labor in Malaysia when he donned his Nike getup, so I mean to say that he's a sell-out is a bit of a redundant assessment of the man's character because we've all been trapped in that frame of mind. We've all sold out in some fashion or another, its not easy to just reprimand everyone who doesn't come out with the next Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.

What I want to know is who is going to bring rap back from the gutter? I think nobody. I think Nasir Jones is right, it's dead. Autotune murdered it, its crack now. Its cooked in a lab and sold to the masses and they gobble it up. Same as the dope game same as the rap game.

Bring ya knowledge up a bit next time son.

I think hip-hop's future is looking as bright as ever. With artist's such as Kid Cudi, B.o.B, Lupe, Eminem rounding back into form, T.I. being out of jail..A lot of hot albums are going to drop this year...

And they will drop like tiny nuggets of gold into a giant toilet filled with the turds of 650,000 Lil Waynes and T Pains and Soldier Boys and whatnot, its a dying genre.

Soon rap will merge into technopop and the douchebags and the thugs will merge in the clubs and everyone will dance to the same r****ded beat.

And, as ironic as it may sound, the "thuggish" style has and is falling off. Noone gives a **** about rims and hoes and money....well I dont and that's not real music. Real music is real life talk...relevant **** and that is what Lupe, B.o.B, Wale, Kid Cudi bring to the table.

Name one rapper that goes on the level of rampage Em does when some pop artist makes indirect "insults" at them. I understand that a man needs to make some money since there are "E!-hip-hop" fans out there but the length Em goes is weak.

Like I said, his style is great but substance is not on the level many put him at.

Why don't you take tour down memory lane and then get back to me, son.

    Back to the song....

Not sure about this song. I think i like, definitely better than the last few lead singles that have had that same stale formula.

This is anthemic and positive which is a new direction for Eminem. The best part of the song are the 2nd verse lyrics. Even if you don't like this particular song its good to know the accents are gone.

"To the fans, I never let you down again, I'm back/ I promise to never go back on that promise," the MC says in the song's second verse. "In fact, let's be honest/ That last Relapse CD was ehh/ Perhaps I ran them accents into the ground/ Relax, I ain't going to do that now."
