This is a pretty cool commercial. Can't wait for this season to start <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/E-QQ7CPjbuo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
These commercials are so audacious. They're pretty much implying that Rose will recover 100% from his injury. No, wait, they're suggesting that Rose will be better after a year off the court. I don't know if Rose is complicit in the advertisement process but it would be a colossal disappointment if Rose returns and is anything but tip top form. Too bad for him.
Not sure about Asperger's but he seems to be bipolar. Sometimes he's the most humble superstar, sometimes he seems to be über arrogant.
Yup Rose is all in...as long as it doesn't involve doing work outside the court to recruit other players Maybe it's just me but I'm starting to see Kobe-style entitlement without the Kobe rings on this kid. First he calls himself the best player in the NBA, then he says he's too good to recruit other players, now this commercial that implies he'll somehow be better after 1 year spent rehabbing what could be a chronic injury. Um, ok. Does anyone actually expect this guy to win a ring as the number 1 guy? With LBJ, CP3, Durant and Harden/Howard playing in his generation?
What did you expect him to say? "Yeah, the guy I hate and my biggest rival is way better then me. In fact, I should give him my MVP trophy. Oh, and Durant, Paul, Harden, and Kobe are all better than me. Westbrook, Howard, Parker, and Anthony. Let's just say I'm a top 15 player...yeah." You want your star to have that mentality of being the best, of being able to put the city on his back and lead them to the promised land. I would not like it one bit if Harden was saying he was content with being the fifth best player, or the second best SG. And the "I don't recruit players" is an old-school mentality. It may not be advisable in today's buddy-buddy league, but I can respect him if he doesn't want to kiss-ass.
