I'm usually all for laughing at people who injure/maim/kill themselves in hilarious ways, but this one actually seems kinda sad. Granted, it isn't exactly smart to soak your hair in gasoline, but the girl was probably horrified that she had lice and didn't think there was any way the gasoline could catch fire. If the pilot light hadn't turned on, she would've probably been just fine.
What on earth gives you the idea that it will be a positive thing to take a container of gasoline into your apartment and soak your head in it. It doesn't matter what you're trying to kill (unless, you're trying to kill yourself), why would you bring gasoline indoors? Idiot.
