Not the former Rocket I had hoped for. Woodson got a raw deal in the ATL but weren't his players about to kill him a few years back?

Why on earth would anyone say mike brown what has he done besides have Lebron, he ran a terrible offense of give Lebron the ball and get out of the way, and wasn't anything special on the defensive side either. If Mike Brown became our coach I think I would have to move to okc and become a thunder fan.
i believe in continuation, this team have been playing a certain style of basketball and needs to continue the same brand of basketball with strict defense philosophy imposed on the players. i vote Elston as the head coach and bring in a good defensive specialist. we really shouldnt tweak that much if we want to continue to roll but it depends on what the management wants moving forward. but first thing's first, i want the real reason RA was not retained. DM's explanation is not good enough not when almost every player on this team wanted RA back. come on DM, dont treat us like kids and give us lame excuses. i respect DM but we need to know as fans what is the teams plan moving forward. i believe the lock out has something to do with it. i expect they wont hire a coach until this lock out issue is settled but i could be wrong.
If the reports are anything to go by, there's an conflict between the old school and new school way of coaching. Forget any of the old guard if that's true. If they truely do have a better insight going forward, let the new hiring reflect their philosophy. I, for one, hope that they are right in letting RA go and if it all goes to the crapper, we'll know for sure who's at fault. No more scapegoating.
Huge letters so don't click: Spoiler Anyone but Mike Brown please!!! nor any other coach fired this or last year. Bring in the Morey coach or the Yes man and let's see where does Morey's way lead to.
As I listed in another thread, I would be OK with one of these three: Mike Woodsen, Lawrence Frank, or Dwayne Casey. I suspect the winning candidate walks into the interview with an iPad...
No, there was a "feud" between he and Josh Smith back in '09. Mind you, those were the days when Josh was a complete bonehead/idiot out on the court that would have clashed with ANY coach. It was only last year when he started to wise up and mature a bit. Woodson did a decent job in Atlanta -- improving every season. The problem is the players had all quit on him by the end of last year so the Hawks had no choice but to move on even despite his success.
Give me Elston Turner. Provided, of course, he runs the Princeton or a motion offense similar to what Adelman already had installed. It will ease the transition plus we have a roster full of players that fit that type of system. Offensively, we're good. What we need is a defensive-minded center with size along with a few other roster tweaks. Let's not do anything crazy here.
