Didn't really mean it as a Adelman vs JVG thing, more of how JVG's era might have been torture to watch but he did produce winning ball.

Moron!!! Restucture is exactly right. He would have to get his type of players. Goodbye Chase, Goodbye PatPat, , Goodbye Hill, TWIll, and Goodbye anyone under the age of 25. Welcome back, Ryan Bowen!! Welcome back Charles Oakley, Antonio McDyess would be on the way!! Name some more past their prime players with no offensive ability, they are on their way too!! Do you really want to destroy the roster for maybe a two season window only to be back where we are now in two seasons but with nobody close to a prime still on the roster? To quote Jeff as I have many times in case you JVG clones forgot "It is not my job to develop youth. Playing young players gets you fired. Let somebody in a rebuilding mode develop youth. I'll take older veterans every time!!"

The question is, who do YOU want to coach...not who will be coach. If people want to suggest JVG, then that's who they want, whether it's likely or not.

He'll have talent distribution now...he'll have more athleticism and youth...more offense. He's settled here in Houston, so if he'd ever consider returning to coaching it would be here. I don't think Les wants him, but i think if he asked JVG would strongly consider it.

Clyde Drexler. At least we no longer need to endure Drexlerisms in live broadcasting.

Elston Turner or Elie. Turner would prob keep the offense the same and that's a big positive.

    Wait!!

Wasn't Brad Stevens in Houston recently??!! ;)

I would be okay with Stevens, JVG, maybe Sloan (if he still has any coaching left in the tank).

    What would Mack Brown do?

So the Rockets will trade for Gordon Hayward to be their next franchise player?

Yes!! I would love coach Finch to take the position. He's done fantastic work with the Vipers. I love how passionate he is during the games. I met him, his wife, and daughter at a Vipers game in Austin. Very nice people. I think he would be a great fit.

The Rockets front office wants someone to comply with them? Finch has had to comply with them every time they send someone down to the Valley and run the Rockets offense. Forced to play Thabeet minutes, as well as all of the other Rockets d-league assignments. He's had to deal with and adjust to players getting called up and sent down, and the Vipers consistently do well. I'm sure Morey would be down in the Valley regardless, but Morey has attended all of the home playoff games in the Valley so far, making Finch a believable possible candidate.

Well Stevens / Hayward, Stevens / Howard teams did make it to championship games.

Can Stevens handle millionaire players like KM, CB, GD, CH, LS, CL, etc? I think so.
