I absolutely loved it. I get a better feel for the players playing style from that angle. The normal basketball angle is too impersonal, the players seem like chess pieces. that angle really helps you observe another side of the player.

I sat almost courtside the other day at a game. Up close view is nice for sensing the human element of players. That its real people out there and not pieces to a board game.

Still it wasnt how I was "used" to seeing basketball. If I'da gone back another level towards the middle some I'da been just fine with that.

I like the attempt at the camera angle still. Just get it sharpened and dont overdo it

That is the point, you can NOT get it sharpened, because the players move so fast left to right that you have to follow them with speed to keep up...and that is disorienting.

Try getting a video camera and record a tennis match....you will vomit...guaranteed.

The one where people would stand up and get in front of it? Yeah, I loved that one.

the angle was fine, but its execution was horrible. if they can't film the game without the cameraguy spazzing out every 5 seconds or someone's head getting in the way, they should just drop it. that said, if they can get a steadycam and some semblance of stability, the view itself was great and gives a closer look of the players and the action.

I cant stand it, they do it alot on ABC. It makes me feel like im playing a game instead of watching one.

If they had a wire cam like ESPN/ABC, then it would be fine. But having it in someone's hand, all whobbly doesn't work.

I agree. There's nothing wrong with the angle itself, but you obviously can't have people walking in front of the camera. If they moved it up just a few feet, it would probably be good to go. They also need to put it on a camera mount because hand held looks like ass after more than about 5 seconds.

I hated it, because there were too many people getting in the way.

I kinda liked the angle, but the camera work was bad. It was like when my little sister holds the video camera, just not very steady.

I just hated it. I was so uncomfortable watching at that angle. Fortunately, they reverted back to the traditional camera angle otherwise i might of stop watching.

I like it. It makes you feel like you're in the middle of the action instead of just observing from a distance. It makes the game a lot more interesting.
