I can't. It was a hypothetical. I was saying, in effect, if I can get 15 liberals as George demanded, and if I were to even lessen the terms in his favor (so he owed only a sig change vs. self-bans), would he take it? George was characteristically scaredy cat enough to run away before anybody had a chance to sign up. No surprise. I knew that would happen. George is famous here for going poof. Good question. I figured we could judge it according to George's own rules, as evidenced in his posts of the last several years. In those posts, we learned that any criticism at all of the commander-in-chief was equal to treason. So I figured maybe, if he lost, he would agree not to do any treason, according to his own definition, for the first year of the next administration. But he was too chicken to agree, so I fully expect him to do much treason on the next president. According to his own terms. Which reminds me of how much fun I'm about to have wearing flag pins and handing out patriotic bumper stickers and singing God Bless America with my hand over my heart in various places. I certainly hope to find much common ground with patriotic Republicans as I do this. IROC it... would you care to join me in a round of God Bless America on election night? If so, I will very gladly give you my address and make sure we have your favorite food and beverages on hand. I am having a party that night and you are invited.

Kudos. I didn't see that - I was off the forum for some weeks. I hope it won't mean you won't be able to post here in the days directly following election day. I'm looking forward to much patriotic common ground in those days, as we come together to support our next commander-in-chief as he prepares to address some truly great challenges left to him by the prior administration. Sorry you won't be able to attend the party. If your plans change such that you will be in or around Houston I hope you'll consider coming by. It's gonna be a real humdinger.

i'll take the bet with a slight variation. if i lose, i'll leave the d&d for a year. if you lose, no penalty, but you must agree to a signature between now and election day that acknowledges you've spent the past 8 years posting with the intent to undermine our C-in-C.
