Is this anyone else's least favorite Beck album? (at least from Mellow Gold on)

    I'd rate them:
    1. Odelay
    2. Sea Change
    3. Midnite Vultures
    4. Mellow Gold
    5. Mutations
    6. Guero

Let us know how the show was.

My buddy and I both went on line and tried to get tix to no avail. He was able to select two tickets, but when he got to the checkout the website timed out.

    We were hating it!

    Guero is nuts, just awesome.

    1. mutations - this is easily my favorite beck record. b/t the rest its really a toss-up. mutations has great songs and playing from all involved. also one of my favorite road trip albums.

    2. mellow gold - i just like the diversity shown. he does rap, acoustic, psychedllic, garage, noise, blues, ect. sentimental favoritism b/c its his first record?

    3. odelay - ive seen beck quite a few times, but on this tour he was amazing - 1996.

    4. sea change/midnite vultures - i like them both alot. just depends on my mood. if i want a party record or a moody record.

*** guero - its too new for me to fairly rate it. but if i have to than for me its still at the bottom.

I only have Mellow Gold and Odelay, but I love MG. One of my top ten albums of all time.

I'm standing right here with the beer in my hand
and my mouth is full of sand and I don't understand

Fourteen days I've been sleeping in a pawn
Better get a claim check tattooed on my arm

Whistling Dixie with the Dixie cup filled
with the Barbecue sauce and the dental floss gel

Guero is a good album. Too early for me to say it's my fav, but I know for sure it ranks above:

    Odelay
    Sea of Change
    Mutations

I need to pick up Midnight Vultures sometime. I know it's probly good, I just remembered hearing a horrible single from it and I never got around to getting it.

Anyone watch it last night, I only caught the second song he played, was the first song he played just the new one "E-Pro"?

I thought it was pretty good, I bet hes sweet live, looked real relaxed and into it on stage

I thought the first song E-pro sounded like crap.
The vocals had nothing to them and sounded like a straight mike, thus ugh...It gradually got a little better, but I was disappointed in the live performance.

    Tsk, Tsk on the soundman!!!

The second song, Summer Girl was just ok IMO.

It was cool seeing QuestLove on the drum kit though.
