BGM, Yes I'm interested... depends on the price though. I could give you the Grizz rookie pick and my rookie pick for the Bulls rookie and a minor player. Or, if you're looking for players, I could probably do something along the lines of Al Harrington (there's your young, backup PF), Rockets rookie for the pick... there are several possibilities. To Everyone, I want to move up in the common and/or rookie draft. I currently own the 11th and 27th pick in the first round, and I own the 2nd, 8th, 9th, and 11th pick in the second round of the draft. On the block, I have ben wallace, alvin williams, mateen cleaves, and keon clark. Here is an example of the type of deal i want to do. I want a trade in which an EQUAL number of picks and players get traded from each team. I get, say, a pick at least 5th or better for my # 11 and 27 pick in the first round. Then I'll ship a good player like Wallace or Williams or Clark for a lesser player on your squad. TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO MOVE UP IN THE DRAFT. I will ship any one of my players plus a first round draft pick for a lower pick in the first round or second round for a better player at that position. FOR EXAMPLE, my 11th pick and Jason Terry for Andre Miller and a later first rounder or high second rounder. I also want to avoid is shipping more picks or players than I get back. Let me know if your interesed in either of these deals. ------------------ I am an invisible man. [This message has been edited by kbm (edited June 12, 2001).]
KBM, What picks of those are common and what are rookie? Let me know which and maybe we can work out something. I currently own the 5th and 6th picks in the common and I would like to move down. Would you do the 5th pick and Foyle for the 11th and Miles? I just want to know if they're all common or if you have any rookie and then maybe we can work out other stuff because I would like to move down in the draft. ------------------
Yes, they are all common picks. And yes I would like to move up. But I dont think I want to give up miles. The players I listed are the ones I'm willing to deal. ------------------ I am an invisible man.
Neither offer really intrigues me that much... By the way nice stuff on Lil Francis with the Troy Murphy call. Can't wait to read his reaction (if any)... ------------------ Beauty, was the allure that brought me close to you, Loneliness, was the bond that made me stick like glue, All fantastic images, they only are apparent, Promoted by desperate hope, That things are somewhere better.
Sorry I haven't responded. My ISP has been screwed up from flooding and I couldn't access the BBS. I am going to hold on to Williams for now. He has helped my team with his mad reb. CK ------------------ CC.Net Sim Homepage For stats, standings and team information.
Castor, you use EV1, right? And you couldn't access the board either? I've had the most bizarre problem with it (bizarre because it affected nothing else). ------------------ Bingbong was set up, led to an untimely death in the prime of his life for no other reason than pure malice. Yep EV1. I couldn't access mail or their servers either. Thankfully Heath has been keeping me updated thru ICQ. Thanks Heath ------------------ CC.Net Sim Homepage For stats, standings and team information. [This message has been edited by Castor27 (edited June 12, 2001).]
By the way, BGM, nice job calling Clutch out in the other forum. I didn't think anyone would actually start a new thread begging for info, even though I wished they would... good job. ------------------ "Basketball players win basketball games. I'm looking for a superstar SG to join my team. I'm willing to part with the backcourt that has rocketed me into unparalleled success---Hughes and Crawford. My common picks are in play, and there is ONE rookie I'm interested in so I'm open to a swap of other players for picks. Let me know. Fizer is available too---he's gonna take off in real life, so you might want to grab him because when NBA Live 2002 (or is it 03?) comes out he's gonna be the bomb... ------------------
KBM, No thanks...Not really interested in Star Centers, if I give up Brandon. Terry is more of a scorer, than a point guard. Franchise, I guess I am interested in dealing one of them. But really looking to upgrade at the two, and not to trade either for depth or draft picks. ------------------ President of the Committee to prevent the drafting of Gerald Wallace "You know who the best rebounder in Chicago is? I am interested in a rookie pick. I have Cliff Robinson and Jerome Williams to offer. I would like to do one of those Heath-Rimmy specials where the players are exchanged in the offseason and the picks are exchanged before the draft. If anyone is interested let me know. I also have my 1st & 2nd round common and the bucks 2nd rounder that could be offered. CK ------------------ CC.Net Sim Homepage For stats, standings and team information.
I have all of the following players available for trade if anyone is interested: C Mikki Moore C/F Otis Thorpe F Chucky Brown F Popeye Jones F Tim James F Lee Nailon F Scott Padgett G Jaren Jackson G Hersey Hawkins G Scott Burrell G Eldridge Recasner No big names, but some good role players. ------------------ "I'm not the only person in this league who thinks they're dirty.", -- Steve Francis on the Utah Jazz "When point guards come to Houston now, they go to sleep the night before. Castor, I have picks 13 and 14 (one lotto, one right after) in the rookie draft from the Grizzlies and Celtics. Would you be interested in one of those picks? If we can work something out involving Jerome Williams I'm open to doing the deal, even if we have to wait until after the season. SF3, Have one person in the trade post the deal in the official trades thread, and have the other person confirm. ------------------ "Basketball players win basketball games. Cat I am definitely interested and would not mind making a deal involving Williams. I would like to do a delayed trade but I am interested in either pick. Let me know what you had in mind as far as an offer and we can go from there. I also have my 1st round common pick (I know you don't have one) that could be packaged. ------------------ CC.Net Sim Homepage For stats, standings and team information.
Castor, I'm just thinking of ideas here, but I'll give you the Celtics rookie pick (14) and Al Harrington for Jerome Williams and your 1st round common.
