On the making the video on MTV she was talking about how "she's so glad she can finally express herself truly in her videos & music." well, based on her new song & video, we know that she both sucks and blows.
I saw the video and dirty wasn't the word that came to mind ..more like trashy.. ...and doesn't this seem almost the same video spears did ? the slave one.
Trashy is right. I was expecting a heavily choreographed dance video, not this ... I dunno why. I still like the song, but damn, the video was horrible. In the beginning, when Redman is saying 'Dirrrty' ... he shoulda said 'skankkky' DAROckets ... I think Aguilera has Spears beat on this one. I'm a Slave 4 You was pretty steamy, but this one, esp the part in the water with the other women was like What was up with the wedgie'd "shorts"? Anyways ... -rockit
OUCH, according to the latest Billboard charts, Christina's song has already lost its bullet and looks like its gonna peak at #48 on the charts!! The record company better start planning some damage control and a new single, SOON!

Any time that you can be spoken in the same breath as Jeff is an honor and a huge accomplishment. Thanks, 2K, for these words. I just enjoy music and although I do not have the technical ability like Jeff or others out there, I do like to think that I have a good ear and know the difference between "catchy" and "long-lasting". And although I have railed against pop music here, I do not completely despise it. Believe it or not, there is very few music out there that I would just not listen to it at all. One thing I have learned here is that it is all about taste. And I will try to continue to do the best I can at being honest and frank about different artists and CDs realizing at the same time that my opinion could be radically different from the majority.
I've always been a Britney guy, and still am, but Chritina looked pretty good in the "dirty" video. I looks like she mixed in a hamburger or two since last time she put out an album. She needed a little weight. Terrific shower scene.
I may be in the minority . . . but the used up crack-w**** look just doesn't do it for me. I am not attracted to Christina Aguilera.
christina was great looking in her "genie in a bottle" days but she has definitely become skank #1. i'd still hit it though.
