That is probably a picture taken from buffalo. It seems like it is a racist city. But I only know the Italians there. Maybe its just them. They take pride in the fact that the Bills exclusively use white qb's. Like I said tho, My perspective on the city is limited.

    You need to move. :D

You can keep the snow and ice. I don't mind cold, but no snow and ice. Blech.

Exactly. This Fall, I could go out on to my deck every day at my house in New England and look out over the mountains and see the nice colors from all the leaves changing. I left town right before the first big snow, but I'm looking forward to being out there and sledding, snowball fighting and finally learning to snowboard.

Of course, I'm also loving this weather in Houston at my parents' house. Every place has it's plusses and minuses. Enjoy em.

Most of the time he just posts random song lyrics. :p ;)

I'll echo DoD's sentiments. If the weather is under 50 degrees, I don't want to go outside. I guess I'm like Heat Miser aka Mr. Green Christmas - BOOYAH!

I'm looking forward to stepping outside of my apt tomorrow morning, getting a Starbucks, looking at the Thanksgiving parade at the end of my street (it will run parallel to my block a block away) and having a White Thanksgiving here in NYC.

I lived in NYC for many years. The cold was ok most of the time. The snow was ok for most of the time. There were always exceptions. The summer is what sucked big time. NYC was the worst in the summer. The humidity rivaled Houston's but there was no escape from it. I didn't have a car, and many of the buildings are so old they don't have central air in them. There is a lot of walking in NYC, and being forced to walk fairly long distances in that weather was just painful. Waiting for a train with no air circulation and squeezed up against thousands of people who are also sweaty was miserable. Some large populations of folks living in NY are required to wear black clothes adn sometimes coats for part of the the summer, and they get stinky pretty fast.

There is almost no breeze in NYC during the summer. The air just sits there and becomes stale, the smell from the streets is vile.

Sometimes the cold was bad, but nothing was as bad as the summer.

I will be visiting NYC for Christmas, and I will enjoy some cold weather. I will also be happy to just get 8 days of it.

After living in Southern California it really will be difficult to move anywhere else.

Maybe early morning or early evening, but there is no way a pale skin Irishman is out in the backyard in 110 degree heat playing baseball. :D

Why are they required to wear black clothes for part of the summer? Are these people closet Cure fans? :p ;)

can't remember a day when it was 110 degrees in Houston.

do you really sit inside all day because its too hot??? kids play in sports leagues that have them playing in the middle of the day on saturdays. i played in a church softball league that had us doing the same. we all seem to do ok.

This is the craziest thing I've ever seen. They weren't lying when they were saying we were getting craploads of snow. I went to my girlfriend's house for Thanksgiving, and after letting my car sit for half a day, I went back outside to find that it was under probably two feet of snow.

Latest weather reports said we've gotten 21 inches, but we've gotten about 5 more since that report. We're supposed to get between 8 anbd 12 tonight and 5 to 9 more tomorrow. This is crazy. I just got home and I'm amazed that I made it. It's only a mile and a half away, but that was the craziest ride of my life. I drove 10 mph the whole way home because the roads were covered by probably 6 inches of snow.

I repeat: NEVER MOVE TO WESTERN NEW YORK.
