Wait... What now? All joking aside I am seriously confused. When and in what country are you not allowed to openly CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS? Go to any store and you'll see they have decked everything out to celebrate (you buying gifts for) Christmas. Furthermore, if christmas didn't exist, wtf does Black Friday exist for? Lastly, when the hell did Obama say we weren't allowed to celebrate Christmas?... If there are really people out there who believe this garbage, then we are all doomed...
I don't even know what to say anymore. I'm trying to figure out when President Obama banned prayer in school. Can't seem to find any info on that. I've found a bunch where the Supreme Court made a ruling in the 1960's...but nothing that our current president has done. The thread title is correct. Never go full r****d. Unfortunately, Rick Perry has gone way past that point.
he is an idiot, but for someone in his position its actually smart strategy. he has nothing left to loose and is not moving in the polls. this is simply his last ditch effort to do something...anything. the only people who are still looking at perry are the evangelicals (the american taliban, if you will) and he is going to do everything he can to attract as many of them as possible, even if it means alienating himself from everyone else. it worked for bush.

I was getting my haircut yesterday at the same little vietnamese-owned joint I always do. Making small talk with the owner, and the conversation eventually drifted to hearing the story from the other lady working there about how she came to the USA. Turns out her husband was working with the south-vietnamese army and the US military. Four days after the marriage he was put in prison by the north vietnamese when the US bailed out. She stayed on for 6 years waiting for his release and they were both granted immigration to the US as a sort of "compensation". A few older ladies getting perms piped up about how horrible that was etc etc. And one old idiot lady had the audacity to state "well, we may soon have to deal with communism here too." Folks like this vote. SMH.
