i still believe in this team, but they need to do a daam near impossible 180 and flip the daam switch already. if rockets dont come tp lay in game 3, then its over. we know one of the teams that came back after losing first 2 at home its all on harden. dwight showed up since the 2nd half of game 1, and everyone in game 1 or 2. harden torched the blazers in the reg season. in 4 games, he avg'd 30/7/5 48fg% 44 3pt%. being down 0-2 is terrible, the first loss was terrible, but im not gonna fall into james being done just yet. he needs to get his head in the daam playoffs. i dunno what he's doing
there was only one maxwell you know better but- no.. there is another <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/X4JVcvR7IM0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
watching since i was a little kid. this performance is not acceptable from a team with 2 top 20 players. while im not a championship or bust person, i also don't enjoy the rockets looking like a joke. sure the team could luck out and shoot lights out for 3 for 4 games. im not even sure that would be a good thing. it would just reenforce the idea that the current system of basketball can be effective in the post season. it's not the fact that they are losing. it's HOW they are losing.
we still have hope. remember the painful losses in 2005 and 2007. we won the first 2 games in both series and we eliminated. its right, its not over their home crowd could be amazing but we are the better team.
It's not over...even if we are 0-3 and 20 pts down by the 1st half of the 4th game it still won't be over. But I just don't like our chances. We need to win game 3, or were going in unchartered waters if we were going to go back and win the series.
Exactly, how many times have we had more than 10 threes in one game, now we can barely get over 10 in 2 games?? There's something seriously wrong with the Rockets, and it's nothing like the situation in 93-94.
let's also not forget, Portland came into this series winning 9 out of their last 10 games, Houston barely limped to the finish line, and had to use the starters to beat the Spurs' bench.
you sound like our head coach ... Unexpected loss of form, whether it's fatigue, POR's defense, confidence issues--it's the coaches' job to put him in position to contribute, or find a player who will.
Its never over until they're actually eliminated lol, but to see this brand of basketball the rockets play continue to advance is insulting to my first love, the actual game of basketball. I would have loved to see Memphis play the Rockets and shutdown Moreyball with convincingly with a sweep.
See my sig. Intelligence is the most underrated talent in the NBA. Or put it another way: The lack of intelligence is the most underrated weakness in the NBA.
