I kinda agree here. Mikal Bridges is pretty good, Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith are great role players. Nik Claxton ist nice, Cam Johnson has some big potential. Curry, Mills and Watanabe bring some great shooting. Ben Simmons will be the X-factor. He has been horrible and it is very possible, that he is done. That he is so far in his head he can't get out again. But on paper, this is a perfect team for him. He needs to be the centerpiece of the offense with shooters around him. He is worthless of the ball. With this team he can bring the ball up, penetrate the paint and kick it out to his shooters. I am not saying they will be title contenders. But I could see them making the playoffs.
Dinwiddie with 20-22 ppg and Bridges 19ppg if they keep him over the summer. Brooklyn of old with Dlo or when OKC had Paul, Shai, Dort, Gallo...
Well, Bradley Beal has rarely moved the needle much as the 1st option in recent months. Maybe only 5-6 more wins.
First names I think about when looking for "winning" players is Spencer Dinwiddie and Mikal Bridges let me tell ya! I'll be curious to see how Bridges and Johnson survive without Chris Paul making their lives easier. Pretty crazy to read guys here actually cutting for Brooklyn. They will be picking around spot 14 and that pick will be ours. Thanks Rafael Stone!
My mistake I thought the conversation was about next seasons draft. Nets are so far above .500 thanks to Kyrie and Durant that these guys should navigate that conference into the playoffs and then get blasted out of the first round.
Ben Simmons Cam Thomas Mikal Bridges Joe Harris Nic Claxton Bench of Dinwiddie O'Neale Finney-Smith That's a solid roster. Add a decent rebounding 4 and they could be a low seed in the playoffs. Not many teams can say they have 2 potential dpoy candidates in their lineup.
If Cam Thomas isn't just linsanity they could be on par with that. They could also move a contract and picks in the offseason to improve....
Cam Thomas is a better shooter than Green and on par across the board. He has better size (30 pounds). I guess he is a few months older though
When he has played 20 minutes or more he averages 22.4 points shooting over 43% from 3. His TS% is higher than Luka has ever had and slightly higher than Harden in his prime. He's a potential monster...
Watched them against CHI last night (on and off). They fell behind, but kept fighting. Harris went off in 2nd Qtr, with 6 3pters and Dinwiddie had a nice game. Ironically Simmons didn't play much in 2nd half. They beat the Bulls without their new PHO acquisitions, so I think they can be competitive in the East by just playing hard.
Imo they will tank this year , it will take guys time to get chemistry and they will rest guys down the stretch . They will do this because that swap isn't likely to be used this year.. and if it is , we still have a good pick to give them back . How's their cap situation . Maybe they can get harden ?
Clueless losers playing hard to get on the Treadmill of Mediocrity! Enlightened teams play like sht for years on the Peloton of Suck.
