As a Texans Fan, I now know what it feels like to be a republican. Show your loyalty to your organization by having faith in their decision making, such as the Iraq war, only to make you look stupid for thinking they had a plan and knew what they were doing.

God its late......who the f66k is this dork acting like there are Gaps in the hood? Peace Love and sellouts?

I really wish I could watch Juwan force feed his own crap to some of the people around here.....talk about some eating their own words.....the only trade he should be involved in is a trade himself could declare a STEAL! A trade that you would have to be blind and wearing $3000 sunglasses to not see it a mile away.....like a servicable PF and 2 for two malcontent guards and a one and half year achieving center......ok....I'm talking about the Francer the cancer trade........Go Texans!.....Adrian Peterson was too good for this team too I'm sure.

Blind loyalty will get you everytime-The Dream

with the way juwan has been playing for us and our dearth of big man, we shouldn't trade him away.

but i think we should get Antoine Wright!!!

If juwan gets traded, then obviously dawson and morey have done their homework and think there is a someone out in the market who can contribute to the team greater than JHo, and whose contract is agreeable.

If juwan doesn't get traded, then he is the best fit for the rockets at this moment (doesn't mean he can't be traded at the deadline). we just have to trust the Rockets leaders. You critics on this board may think you know a lot and think JHo is garbage, but you definitely do not know more than the Rockets' decision makers.

Just support JHo or any other Rocket when they are playing. Is that too hard to ask? Although I don't live in Houston, I am beginning to think Houston is becoming like Philadelphia, a bunch of whining fairweather fans. Grow up.

    pipe dreams.

apart from the other, prob more obvious stuff (ie, fat contract)
the article states they are divided on Howard in the Nets camp.

you dont opt to take on a contract like Howard w/out full support.

Not even JORDAN, DREAM, MAGIC, AND BIRD in their primes can save that team. :D

Howard has been a solid player off the bench, but 7 million for a player that may not be in the rotation is a bit too expensive, but we are not making the decisions. Of course Les would wanna save the money, but he will ask JVG first. Like many of us, Jeff is most likely uncomfortable with padgett in a consistant backup role, and will decline.

Juwan will be a rocket until the day he retires.

That would be Common. The irony, is that he is a die hard "vegitarian", but he has no problem wearing a leather belt or shoes. Used to be my favorite emcee with "I used to love her", but erykah badu put the hex on him...very similar to andre 3000, and dude from Dead Prez...

    forget it. I'm ranting.

what were we talking about again??? lol

Okay, let's be honest now...I think that team would not only do well, but would win multiple rings.
I mean unless Jordan and Bird get in a fight and injure each other, taking out Magic trying to hold them apart.
Even then, Dream and four Juwans, hmm...
Yes, you were exaggerating and I'm taking this way too far, but I couldn't resist. :p :p

"Boki is useless! At least Juwan has been rebounding some and he even accidenty makes a shot or two.

    Boki SUCK!"

Boki can run like a deer. He can run and shoot. He cannot defend as well as Juwan, but has a lot more energy.

Juwan cannot help this team IMO --Boki can!

I say don't trade. Nets won't give nobody up thats better than Jho. And by the way always found Jhoward a decent player. Here with the Rockets eventhough he was better with the magic. Only thing i want is a rule change so that contracts like Howards can be changed by 50/60%. He's getting OVERpaid.

Three good games now all of a sudden Juwan Howard is UNTOUCHABLE, plays good defense and is the scorer we need off the bench!

Yeah right, I guess A_3PO and I are the only ones that "get it" around here. There's a difference between "Juwan Hating" and being sensible enough to know he's not going to keep playing well and that 3/20 good games doesn't validate over two years of below average PF play.

I say we trade Jho seeing his stock is at the highest right now. If any taker willing to Jho i would trade him in a heart beat. Why? obiously his monsterous contract compare to his minuates on the floor and his effectiveness.

To the nets Jho can be the starter in the east, and nowadays a starter will 7 mil contract is cheap. so it worth more to nets than us. beside they are sorely missed in the paint for someone that can defense decently.

To rockets, it may be a setback to us at the 4, but if wells work out fine, then we won't miss JHo at all. for rockets future it gives us more flexibility with my salary and cap space.

if we are extremely lucky (which i doubt it), Nets may trade jrich to us for jho + our Te or even a first round throw in.

The reason Jho doesn't foul like Hayes is because he is never close enough to the man he is defending to actually touch him.... :D

He has played well since the cattle prod was inserted. Before these last few games I noticed he usually shot better in the 1Q and then as he became tired his shot got flatter and flatter.

This is unbelievable. I never thought this board would be willing to overlook 2 years of injuries/non-production after a few good games. I guess if that's the case, there's no point in anyone trying to say anything to the contrary. The fact that people are even mentioning Kristic name as someone coming back is ludicrous.

To respond to some posts regarding my earlier thoughts about the extra money being worth more than Juwan's contract, it's actually immaterial that we'll never get below the salary cap. The luxury cap is the important thing here. Specifically, our ability to take someone else's albatross off their hand without having to pay the luxury tax(which Les will very unlikely go over). There are plenty of players better than Juwan with hideous contracts that team would love to hand over to the Rockets to shore up our depth.
