All I gotta say is SCREW YOU EG and middle finger to the Nets. That's what you get for trying to screw us over.

Maybe if he plays in the prison league for a while he will learn to be aggressive and play physically inside.

    Naaaaah.

I'm still in disbelief that all of this has happened.

"Griffin, who was cut by Houston earlier this season after problems both on and off the court, signed a contract with the Nets that would have paid him roughly $375,000 for the rest of the season. Under an agreement, he will walk away with $125,000. "

The guy does nothing and makes 125K. Where do I sign up?

Maybe Eddie need to focus on the basketball but not things outside the court.

Maybe this is a clear sign that the Nets are set to sign Vin Baker.

Looks like he can pull a couple more of these stints for couple more years until he gets to ~25 and loses all the "potential" he supposedly had.

we should not be upset about Griffen -

how about the rox getting BOKI (last year), instead of giving up that pick to the Grizz. Then, the best draft since '83 (this year) comes along and the rockets are standing out in the cold - at least with a pick maybe we can move up and get some of that talent that went in the top 10 !

Hold it - did I miss something here? They aren't talking about Jan. 20, as in last month are they?

    What talent?

What talent has Eddie shown in the NBA? He is a good shotblocker, but that is about it.

I think that he showed flashed, and more importantly, I don't feel that he demands the ball. Also for a power forward, though his fg% is low, he can hit the occasional shot from outside. And for MIng and SF we need perimeter players, it wouldn't hurt now. And you do have to admit, he could board decently, though I think that maybe he was more of a small forward type.

Is this to counter the release of Dikembe Mutombo and firing of Byron Scott - a rare intelligent move by the Clippers of the East. Too bad they won't release Jason Kidd...
