    Even if Billups doesn't want to go to NJ, he still gives them another asset to deal for NJ. However, if Rip is involved it gives incentive for him to stay and make a playoff run. Billups wouldn't be with a contender in Denver and once they win a few games he would come around.

    Getting Harris makes it less likely Nene will be dealt, IMO. Sounds like they'll be trying to remain moderately competitive while developing and building around Favors.

    Melo and Billups are both warming up in Denver right now from the tweets I've read. I put a small wager on the Hornets +5.5 tonight just in case they get pulled from the floor.

    League sources say Billups is only interested in leaving DEN if it means playing for a winner. Buyout a real possibility if he's sent to NJ.


    Wow, Miami would be the real winner of this trade if he does get bought out.
